Picture this: you're having a little mental health scroll around your favorite social influencers, and you see this ultra chic little spot to grab #nofilterneeded crepes and waffles, only to find that you don't need to travel further than your backyard in Frankfort!

Crepology in Frankfort, nestled between Distinctive Gold and Emagine Theater is a downtown Chicago worthy eating establishment. From the neon sign on a wooden backdrop to the hand stenciled wallpaper and mural, each inch is an instaworthy backdrop. Even if you're not posting, this space has such a warm and inviting vibe.

This trip, we opted for two bouquets. What their crepe is known as. My selections were a vanilla creme with some of the freshest strawberries and raspberries and a chocolate drizzle. My son swapped the raspberries for bananas and a Nutella drizzle. The portions are plentiful to share one, but you may not want to share. The creme is so light, along with the crepe that you don't have that heavy feeling after. No filmy feeling. This is all natural and fresh made to order.

And if you're lucky, you get to chat with the owner, Adam, while you wait. We just had the pleasure of trying Crepology and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance is delightful, blending a cozy, rustic charm with modern touches that make it a perfect spot for any occasion. The menu is a crepe and waffle lover's dream come true. We tried “the bowl” and “fresh fruit with chocolate sauces” and was blown away by the flavor and quality. The crepe was perfectly cooked, light, and fluffy, with a generous and delicious fresh crème that left us wanting more. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and it was clear that fresh, high-quality ingredients were used, the chocolate sauces were surprisingly light and delicious.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed and providing great recommendations, they were very accommodating and created a special fruit dish when they learned that I don’t eat gluten. Their attention to detail and passion for their craft was spot on & excellent. I forgot to mention the presentation – each dish was beautifully arranged and a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The coffee was handcrafted to perfection. Crepology exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves crepes/waffles or is looking for an exceptional breakfast experience. I came to check out the food and left with the best personable experience from Adam! You are one of the best customer service second to none advocates and model it well. First, I wasn't sure on crepes because I never had them and Adam was so kind and reassuring. He not only made the selections sound amazing but he offered to swap to a waffle and wouldn't take my tip for nothing. It wasn't him turning down the tip it was his pleasant demeanor the entire time not once did he frown or become rude. He served with a smile and genuine laughter. I will say if the crepe was deep fried with all the toppings we chose for me texture wise would've had me in my opinion but I love waffles and now can't get enough of biscoff, caramel strawberries and real whip cream. Please come in and try CREPOLOGY for yourself the decor is beautiful that was all hand painted and the service is exceptional 100/100.
