Dropped into this shop for a sandwich today. Sandwich was $16.00! For $16.00 I would have expected a fully stacked sandwich with chips and maybe a pickle. Their prices are comparable to Shapiros, but that is where the comparison ends. Very little meat on this sandwich for the price. They served it with a few grapes, and that was it. Flavor was good. The place is very nice inside and they look to have a nice array of products, and their butcher meat looked very good. Might be a great place to shop, but seriously the sandwich was not what it should have been for the price. Hope they will fix that, because they were very nice, and their place is very nice. It could be a very good addition...
Read moreMy family has been so impressed with the meat from this new shop! Delicious every time. And we’ve tried it all. Pork chops, bacon, various steaks, elk… It’s been fun trying the locally sourced kombucha and sparkling teas, kettle chips, jams, salsa, etc. I just pick something different each time I go in. I’ve also tried every sandwich and they are all delicious. My top two favorites are the Franklin Jam and the Well Dressed Italian. Afternoon coffee? They do that well too! The staff is friendly and helpful and the butcher, Matt, is a good resource. Stop in and check this place out—they’ve turned this old building into something special...
