I recently brought in an item to be packaged. The item was fragile and large. James the store manager told me that it would be ready for me to pick up in the afternoon. I went the next day to pick up my item to find out that my item was not packaged nor did the employee who was working there know about. I located my item in the back of the store ( without going behind the counter). It was on a paper cutter 4 1/2–5 feet above the ground or anybody could’ve easily bumped into it and broken it. There were three people online waiting before me. The employee wanted to do package my my item before them. I told her to complete and finish helping the customers that were before me. I then assisted the employee in packaging my own item without going behind the counter. I called the corporate office a few days later to complain they took my information and said someone would get back to me. A week had gone by with no response back from the corporate franchises office. Apparently they lost my information so I had to retell the entire story again. I had to wait 48 business hours for a response. This is the response from store manager James is as follows; “The customer was informed it would be done by 5 pm the following day he came into the center at approx.. 2 pm and waited as our associate drooped everything she was doing to pack it right then for him. His item was sitting on a back counter waiting the packing. I would be willing to offer a partial refund as the customer was there before it was packed but I cannot offer a full refund as per the customer received the item safely packed to ups standards.” All information was incorrect I was never told 5 PM or else I would’ve been there by 5 PM. The employee did not drop everything as I told her to finish helping the other customers first. The item was not on the counter it was hanging off a paper cutter 15 inches wide.
When I contacted corporate to say that all of the information was incorrect they then again contacted James the store manager who backtracked everything to make him look like he was in the right. I went to the store and I was offered 25% refund I would’ve been content for just a refund of everything except for the supplies. Upon turning down the offer of 25%. James refused to talk to me any further and just gave me the store owners name of Nick Cragren. I had to call Mr. Cragen four times and left my message every time without a response or call back. Finally getting in touch with him I understand Him defending his employee and manager Nick. He informed me that she should not have even let me touch the package while it was being packaged that it could void the shipping warranty and that she was ill trained to package such package. Without me stating that I just wanted a refund of services not supplies Mr. Cragen hung up on me. I will no longer do business with any UPS store or use any UPS services in the future.

Read moreDO NOT print anything at this UPS location. I placed an online order for printing which was scheduled to be picked up the next day. I showed up to pick up the order and they did not even know the order was placed. They then tried to print the order on different paper than I paid for and when I asked for a refund, they could not offer it.
They told me I could come back later and pick it up before they close. When I did, the order was still not complete.
