The staff is very friendly and welcoming, especially the lady the middle aged woman that works the register as well as she cooks. Being I just moved here to Michigan from NC with my wife who is American, I was craving for some home food, did some browsing but every thai restaurant seems like any other mediocre restaurant with the same old boring menu, whereas this is much more of a whole in the wall true to authentic cooking. She was even kind enough to give me directions to local asian food marts that are from the region and not korean markets(which typically don't have ALOT of the things these local thai, laos and hmong community provides.)

I normally get the "Laos style papaya salad, she will ask how spicy and for those who don't know would normally answer with mild, hot, or very little. But those who do know what she means is how many fresh peppers. I normally get mine with 20 peppers. Its soooo spicy and satisfying(for those that like heat and flavor) whereas my wife normally gets the quarter chicken leg or hmong sausage with sticky rice and she always wants 2 extra qts of sticky rice to bring home. HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Ordered Pad Thai which was average, Sweet n sour chicken &3 spring rolls(paid for 3, only received 2! I picked food up at 8:30p they close at 9. My kids& I aren’t overly picky but had the sweet n sour at 10 other restaurants& this was so terrible we couldn’t eat it. The sauce was almost light pink in color. They were already closed by time we tried it, I called next day to graciously ask to either get a refund or simply get something different. I was also going to bring food back, not looking for free handout just couldn’t see throwing $12 in garbage. My husband and I got: beef pad thai mild spice, pork pad thai no spice, crab Rangoon, spring roll, and hot & sour soup.

Pork pad thai: a lot of food! Container was heavy. Delicious flavor! Noodles were perfect, peanut topping was good, sauce was amazing. 10/10

Beef pad thai: awesome! So good that after being full after being 80% done, had to keep eating to finish. 10/10

Spring roll: not bad, but average 7/10

Crab rangoon: the best crab Rangoon we've ever had almost. Filling was INCREDIBLE, dough just slightly chewy. 10/10, DELICIOUS

Hot and sour soup: I've never had it before, and my husband only once. This was good! The flavor was great, had a decent spice kick to it. 8.5/10

Above all, staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. When we had an issue with our order they quickly rectified the problem.
