Agree with the previous review; senior sale staff were rude & unwilling to provide good service. I went in to shop for used ski boots for my 5th gr. daughter and found some, thx to the help of a young gentleman (who was great). I was supposed to travel the next day for a skiing trip and was in a time crunch, so I asked if the boots I just bought can be adjusted for the ski bindings I already owned (that I had with me). The sales person at the cashier offered to do it for $50 in an arrogant way ($25 adj fee + $25 "RUSH FEE), for boots that cost me $60, and when questioned about the "rush fee", he gave me this big lecture about how it's easy to adjust for length, but it's not that easy to do the tension settings, hence the fee. I was not willing to double the price of a used item, and declined his offer. Glad I did that as it took me literally 5 minutes to do it myself thx to Youtube videos & a friend's tips. In hindsight, it would have taken this ski shop (pros in this line of business) 2 min to do this job, but it felt like he was trying to take advantage of the siuation with a rip-off. Not going back to this...
Read moreThey generally have a pretty terrific assortment of used shoes ball gloves bats equipment bags and all kinds of other stuff. If you're in a cage and a player, I don't want to break the bank outfitting yourself then this is the place where you should go to. They're small, but typically well-run franchises. The one in Frederick here has very helpful persons working there who know their way around sporting equipment. Was fun talking with them and they represent well. I've been to this particular place at least 10 times and will continue to come back. Absolutely worth the trip. And when you have kids that grow in and out of Footwear and equipment by all means come here first. Don't be too proud to save some money. Absolutely worth the trip, two thumbs up. And yes - they have a lot of brand new stuff that's the route...

Not only their staff isnât well trained nor informed; but their manager Joel gives a million excuses instead of resolving or fixing their own issues.
I called to ask if they can do a buy in for step ons and Jake (staff) said yes absolutely; so, I drove 45 mins to find out Jake was wrong & Joel canât do anything because itâs a one off sale if they took it (in other words no they canât take it).
Never mind I wasted my time & gas, but the worse part is when the owner & Joel came out & said but to make it up, we can take the board, binding & boots for $75 (this is all worth at least $500 given I got them last year & boots were too big for me â so, I walked out. Thanks!
They were like: âsorry but what did you expect?´ I expected to have the right information and then not be insulted...
