Food is great, and the wait for preparing items, such as hush puppies usually isn't bad. If you're a regular that they know, call ahead to order ribs to save a little time. If after 2pm in the day, I will routinely call to see if they're open (on rare occasion, they do close, possibly when out of some menu favorites), and as long as I talk to a human vs get the machine, I'll make the drive.
Many satisfying items for us on their menu - their bbq ribs of course (we get them dry with sauce on the side), Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich (sharp vinegar spice plus sweetness), Beef Brisket sandwich (very tasty), the hush puppies and that sweet butter sauce that they come with, the fries, and even the small fries donuts (killer with coffee, if you have a cup of joe with you). Beverage selection is mostly canned soda, but they usually have lemonade and sweet tea also available. The staff are friendly and helpful, and more than willing to give you a sampler or two of the different sauces and dips that they also sell in larger sizes.

Read moreI get to work all over the state so I like to try local bbq spots over spots I have close to home, there is a Mission right down the road from here.
Decent pit beef, not my favorite. The menu version of the sandwich has house bbq on it, I think to help cover the lack of smoke/flavor. Good serving of protein, decent bun selection was fresh and did not fall apart. Found the onions very roughly chopped, onion slices thicker than the meat.
Did like the look of the house made sauces. Friendly staff, food came out in a timely manner, seen several people pull up to pick up and order so they do a good buisness.
I thought my french fries were fried too hard.
Will check out again anytime I'm out here again. Did not...
Read moreMy husband and I ordered the “pit” turkey bbq sandwiches and coleslaw today from their take out truck. Staff were very nice, but to our great disappointment the turkey was unfortunately not remotely pit bbq, it was thin sliced processed luncheon meat turkey with some bbq sauce, making it extraordinarily salty and not at all what we were expecting, especially for $10 just for a luncheon meat sandwich with no sides The coleslaw while fresh was an extra $3 for a sample sized plastic cup worth, which also seemed overpriced for what you received. Was excited to try a new bbq truck, but sadly ended up disappointed. Maybe we would have had better luck if we had tried the pulled pork or...
