WOW!! Dinner: 9/22/23 7pm Birthday Celebration. As we walked in, we were greeted to our table by a welcoming hostess. We saw a beautiful family table, with a surprise, a gorgeous bouquet in the center of the table to mark that it is a celebration and it did feel very special. Very shortly after being seated, we were welcomed by a restaurant manager and their staff. As I found out during reservation that we could bring our own wine and drinks of choice, we sure did. The bottles were taken to the kitchen to be chilled and brought back out in the ice bucket. While reading a menu, my family were pleased by the selection. Even the most picky eaters have found many dishes to select from: anything from soups, salads, cold/hot appetizers to meat, seafood to vegetarian options. As we placed our order, adults were served wine in the best etiquette. While a short wait for our appetizers and enjoying the environment, I was observing how service was delivered to other guests at the restaurant. Waiters and manager were constantly rotating on the floor and attentive to everyone at their tables. Each and every detail was paid attention to by their staff. They work in a very organized manner and make their guests feel very special. Your meal starts with a freshly baked, hot out of the oven, huge, fluffy pita bread with sesame seeds that is served with olives to snack on, while you are waiting on your order to be cooked. Everything we’ve ordered (appetizers, soup, salad, main entrees, dessert, Turkish coffee, Cappuccino), were absolutely delicious, flavorful and cooked to perfection. We are very selective foodies and if we say delicious, it means exactly that. Portion sizes are generous, and trust me, you wouldn’t leave hungry. While enjoying our food, one of the owners of the Marmara Mediterranean Cuisine was also there with his wife. They have greeted us and other guest at their restaurant. Such beautiful, kind and welcoming people. Restaurant manager and entire staff went above and beyond, not only to our table but every guest at the restaurant felt their kind attention. We have ordered so much, because we wanted to try as much as we possibly could, but we also had to have their dessert! Our daughter received a beautiful surprise by the restaurant, as they knew it was her birthday, they turned on music that played a beautiful birthday song, as they brought out her birthday dessert with a candle. My daughter was surrounded by so much caring of the restaurant staff..everyone from staff, manager, owner to restaurant guests clapped to the birthday song as she made a birthday wish. It felt so special, so incredible! Dessert is another level of wow! Towards the end of our meal, an Executive Chef came to our table, as well as other guests at the restaurant yesterday evening, to say hello and to receive feedback. Only good words for his deliciously prepared dishes. Bottom line…go, don’t wait. Either if it’s just to eat outside of house, any special occasion or simply stopping by, while shopping at the mall during the day or evening. You will be very happy and would want to return again and again and again. Menu is so versatile that you can find food in any price category, from lunch to dinner. All would feel welcomed. Can’t wait to return and try their many other dishes from the menu. Say hello to them from Stella when making a reservation or just walking in. We kept on complimenting them while there because these compliments are well deserved. Thank You again for special touches and helping in making our daughter’s day extra...

I known this place for along time but never had a chance to visit until today. I came to mall with intention of stopping by. I search the location on Google map inside the mall map took me to the entrance door so even if you decide last minute when you are shopping inside the mall you will be able to follow Map to find it. We entered and ask to host to sat us the table we asked for they didn't mind taking us to our liking had no problems. Big detailed menu and traditional as well as some ither dishes such. We chose 2 appetizers acili ezme and labne. Just in a minute balloon pide and olives in olive oil served that was complimentary since we were hungry before finished the bread they brought another one Turkish generosity as well as hospitality know in the whole world. 😀 Food lahmacun and iskender we call doner on the top of pieces of pride and tomatoes sauce topped with melted butter and yogurt on the side. Staff was very attentive manager all kind generous perfect host Food was delicious well prepared doner was made from slice solid meat not from chopped meat. We call yaprak doner which how doner should be made. Meat is very thinly slice from solid marinated over night wait to be tender and placed on to the metal tall skewer and cooked. Appetizers were delicious spicy ezme and labne was a great choice together for those who can't have spicy yet would love to labne blends with spice and you don't feel the spice yet taste compliments eachother makes it easier for everyone to be able to taste both flavors. We were full coudnt try the most famous turkish dessert baklava yet again staff and restaurants hospitality would let us go at least having a again world famous Turkish coffee of course would have been an insult to host if we rejected to acoffee. Delicious coffee and amateur self coffee cup fortune reading we were full tummy happy and greatful to the hosts and staff told then we will definetly return later for more great taste of Turkish Food at MARMARA RESTAURANT at Raceway mall in...

I feel disrespected today (1/7/24) because of the attitude I got today. I came here before when they first opened and I poved it because of how good the service was. When there was a mistake with our order they were professional on how they acted upon it. This time when I came, my server was Firat H, he did a good job with everything until we got our food. I ordered the Rib-Eye steak which states it comes with baked potatoes and asparagus. When I received my dish, I got 2 baked potatoes and 1 small piece of aspargus. Wheb I told Firat he told me he will get me more. He got me 4 more in a dish, now before I get judged for sayibg this, I'm not sad about the money. After I got my check, he charged me $2 for 4 peices of aspargus, usually you get told when its going to be extra cost, I was forced to pay it.

When I went to use the restroom, on my way there I slipped and barely caught myself, I let it slide. When I slipped I didn't take it very seriously to get a compensation or anything, ehat got be racked up is when I tols the manager, his attitude was "Don't worry, our restaurant is clean" I was like that is the reason why I slipped, wheb I also brought up the aspargus, his only response was "Ok", he completely didn't care. Keep in mind this manager is different than the one I met last time I was here. I realized now that they were only nice when they opened to get customers, after their grand opening they just didn't care about anyone. Horrible way to run a business. I don't think I'l be coming here again, especially when I approached the manager and told him I'll be leaving a bad review and he was like "Ok sir". I don't like to be given an attitude especially when I'm a...

I do want to share some constructive criticism for this restaurant because I think the food is great but service could use a bit of help and others may enjoy their time even more with a little attention to detail. We were a party 6. We orders the cold appetizer (a plate full of all dips), a shepherds salad and a mixed grill. When a table of 6 orders dips, please have at least 2 bread baskets out with the dip. What are we supposed to eat it with? You only give a few pita chips. Or maybe increase the pita chips. DO NOT go to a table with no bread. We sat there for at least 5 mins waiting for bread to which the server said “I’m not the oven” … what? Mixed Grill - I notice you now have a new platter you serve in … can you spare a little more rice? Hardly any rice meanwhile it used To overflow with rice. The meats and other items on the platter are really delicious. But also the platter comes with sauces to which we also couldn’t get anyone attention to bring sauces over. Maybe, bring the sauce out first before the meat. It’s just a simple thing that really makes a dining experience so different. Shepherds salad - I think the portion for a large was pretty small. We frequent another restaurant with similar food but we chose this one because we knew it would be a little quieter … but the feedback above regarding service would keep us as customers. These are not issues we find at the other restaurant but really bothered our table on this evening.
