*What really sets me off is that it took 6months after installation to get someone back out to perform a system start up. 6months.. for a START UP! My wife called a few times over the summer and was told she was on the "list". THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE ! Bomar literally went from rescheduling us because people had no heat to rescheduling due to people without air conditioning. We were almost back to needing heat before they ever came back out to check the AC! * Initial proposal went great, Paulie was very direct and good to work with. The installers were friendly guys, however the quality of work is lacking. I expected a bit of a mess with this large of a project, however the cleanup my wife had to do every day when these guys left was terrible. The areas where new floor vents were installed in our hardwood are sloppy, the edges are rough and the holes are too big, the vents slide around. Some ducts were placed/not placed in areas that had/hadn't been initially agreed upon, there's not much we can do the day of when they tell us something needs to change, however the guy who walked through for system start up even questioned why there wasn't a return in a room where one was supposed to be installed. Also, one of our ducts/vents doesn't have air flow. We complained about it and they said it has air flow but it's minimal due to the length of the run. Why did you even put a duct/vent then if it's inadequate? We were told there are blowers that can be placed to provide better flow(don't you think that would've been discussed prior to installation if they knew the air flow lacks on a long run??) the GM was on vacation and they said he would get back to us in regards to that, but he never did and I don't expect him to. Jason, the GM, needs to be more present in this company, he came out for the initial walk through/estimate and was basically non existent after that.(He did respond to an email from my wife in a reasonable amount of time, but nothing needed to be done) How do you provide general management and allow your customers to wait 6 months without following up? Who does your scheduling? Hire more people! Overall lack of quality customer service. Would've given 1 star, but 2 stars are only because the installers really do have good attitudes and seem to be genuine guys, however I would NOT recommend this company due to the lack of quality, consideration, repeatedly...

My air conditioner stopped working over the holiday weekend. I called Bomar the next business day. From the time I spoke with the office, to the time the technician (Geno) left my house, I was truly impressed with how they handle themselves as a company.
This was the first heat wave of the season and they were swamped with calls, but still offered same day service. I told them I’d be fine waiting till the next day. I had dealt with 3 days without AC and had means to get my family to a friends place if need be.
I work in another aspect of the HVAC field (automation controls for commercial applications) and I can say this company is 100% legit. If they say you need something, trust them! As for pricing, they seem completely in line and fair with what they provide to and for the customer
Bomar, from my experience, has TRUE technicians at your home; not a salesman trying to get as much money from you as possible.
With my background, I knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. Geno did an amazing job explaining what was wrong and possible causes of why this happened. Even if I wouldn’t have had knowledge of the situation, I would have felt extremely comfortable with the way he presented the problem and options.
I also know, it’s hard to find honest contractors that aren’t just looking to make a quick buck.
Due to what was wrong with the unit I couldn’t repair it myself because of EPA regulations and the expensive tools required to do so.
I don’t like parting with money anymore than anyone else does but at least if I pay for a something I want the best ROI as possible.
Peace of mind that the job cost is fair and preformed right is a huge return on investment in my eyes!

I have used other companies and been overcharged so this service was much appreciated. 06/11/2020 Once again Joel from Bomar was out for service but this time on my ancient 16 year old air conditioner. I expected bad news but instead found out it was repairable. He gave me an estimate and the cost was even less than he expected. Joel is a great technician, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff at Bomar are also friendly and very helpful. Hopefully my poor old air conditioner can limp through the summer and when it needs replacing, I'll be calling Bomar and asking for Joel. Thanks Joel for rescuing myself, my family and my animals from 80+ degree indoor temperatures and expected temperatures of 90+ next week. I would definitely recommend Bomar and Joel to anyone needing service for heating, AC and plumbing.
Sept 14 Gino came out to inspect my furnace (and clean it) after my HVAC leak. No damage to the mechanicals. Water damage confined to back of furnace. Gino was very nice and got the job done quickly and efficiently just like all of the staff from Bomar. I've been working with Bomar since the beginning of June. I had my old AC repaired and survived the summer. I had to have my furnace removed and reinstalled because of an issue with the installation ten years ago (another HVAC provider installed it incorrectly). Brian was extremely knowledgeable and he and Noah got the job quickly. I was relieved to get everything working properly before the very cold weather arrives. I have worked with many different Bomar employees on a variety of HVAC issues this past summer and all of them went above and beyond to address my HVAC needs.
