Family Affair Restaurant — Restaurant in Freeport

The waitress was extremely rude and it took her 15 minutes to even come to our table even though she wandered by multiple times. I had to repeat my order 3 times and she was the only one who apparently couldn’t understand me and even after writing it down still put it as the wrong food. The waitress was also very close to spilling hot soup on my husband and even though she missed his lap it got all over his Bluetooth headset and she just acted like it never happened. We also ordered food to take home to my dad and and upon arriving home and looking at it it wasn’t even close to what was ordered. Looks like they mixed some sort of slop together with some meet and gravy and threw it on a piece of bread. I’ve had some bad service before but this is the only time I’ve had service bad enough that it wasn’t worth a tip. The Food was okay. The service was okay she seemed like she was in a rush. They seemed mad that a party of 7 walk in. I am not sure how this place got almost 5 stars. The food isn't worth 5 stars the food was salty and greasy. I guess people of Freeport think this is good food. The young man who helped us at the end kept telling us coffee was bad for us? Don't like people don't work up front. We just suggested that they need better coffee. I will never go there again. I would travel outside of Freeport to find a good place to eat. This restaurant is superior to even your 5 Michelin star restaurants. The food was great for comfort fare. The wait staff was polite and prompt. The employees were constantly cleaning the area as patrons left. They were not only cleaning the tables they were also cleaning off the booth seats, chairs, between the cracks where cushions came together, backs of chairs where patrons grabbed to move them, etc. I wish more restaurants had employees who did this rather than customers sitting ing food, coffee or syrup from others.
