Sea Bags — Local services in Freeport

I had the opportunity to visit the Sea Bags Freeport store a few days before Thanksgiving. I did not have much time to browse, and was interested in gifts for several friends and family. To my delight, the store salespeople Kelley and Sue jumped right in to help me navigate the offerings at the store and zero in on some interesting gift ideas. When they learned that I was interested in the beverage bags - which I highly recommend as gifts - they searched the back of the store for other patterns for me to consider. When I expressed concern over how all the bags I was buying could fit into my carry-on bag for my return flight home, Kelley offered to ship the gift bags home to me. She also explained that the Sea Bags I chose were supposed to come with a bottle opener but mistakenly the opener had been omitted when shipping to the store. So Kelley said they would wait to get those openers to include them in the package she was sending me. She didn't have to tell me about the openers and I would never had known they were included, but she went the extra mile to make sure I got the full value of what I was purchasing. Kelley and Sue were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I cannot recommend enough heading to the Sea Bags Freeport store when you need some gifts for others...

I'm not sure I am reviewing the right place, I got an e-mail from Karen Knights of Sea Bags and this lady went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I got a Sea Bag a long time ago that was stiff and crackly and I hate it! I don't use it at all but my friends did not know that and I did not share with them. However, I informed Karen of this and she sent out an e-mail to all of the stores that carry Sea Bags for me. I wanted the large tote, only white with black paw print and black handle. The store in Grand Haven, MI, answered here as well as a store in Maine, the one in Michigan was more along the lines of what I was thinking. BOTH stores sent pictures. I called the one in Michigan and it is being sent right out. I am super excited but without Karen's help this could not have happened. The lady in Michigan made sure it was supple and soft for me. I can't wait to get it. Karen even said I could have the clasp added after I get it! I am thrilled! Power that be - please take note! Karen Knights is a fabulous employee! ...

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be gifted a Sea Bag from a friend. She gave me the classic Navy Anchor design. Of course I love it but, although I only own one other Sea Bag, the one I own is the same anchor design. My friend told me to feel free to exchange it but I didn't have a receipt. When I was able to visit the Freeport store Terry/Teri greated me with a welcomed smile and wonderful conversation. She was very helpful in showing me the "even exchange" options. Now, I am happy to own Sea Bags "Octopus" design with a fabulous sage green lining penned with words by Charles Darwin. Terry, thank you so much for your guidance and patience. You were great and I couldn't be more excited to have this new Sea Bag....
