My experience here was bad. I agree with the other comments that the staffing at this location is rude. I came in to buy a suit and nobody offered to help me with fittings even though there were clearly staff not doing anything. Finally there was a senior manager that I got a hold of. He was initially very dismissive of me and told me that I looked like I can only rent a suit and not buy one. I was a little taken aback by this comment but chose to ignore it. I told him that I was looking to buy. He pointed to the suit section and told me to go take a look. I told him that I was looking for a fitting for the suit and he reluctantly took out a tape measure to measure my shoulder. He pulled a jacket off the rack and pants and gave it to me. I tried it on and when I came out he disappeared. I stood there for a good few mins to see him come around. He finally shows up and told me it fitted and that I wouldn't need it tailored. He never made contact with me or took a deeper look at the length of the sleeves or the pants. I told him the pants felt too long and I would likely need to get it fixed. He told me that I should just throw it in the wash a few times and it will shrink. I still felt uneasy but looking in the mirror, I thought that my tailor can fix a lot of it if he wasn't willing to do it himself. I took it in the next week to my tailor who does these types of alteration all the time and she told me that the jacket length and sleeves was too long, the jacket was too tight and it scrunched the front up and that this should have been easily visible from any professional that it wasn't the right fit. The jacket was a slim fit which means that there was not enough fabric to allow it to be fixed. The pants were also not a good fit and she said that the pants weren't worth fixing as the cost of altering it to fit me would cost more than what I paid for the pants. She spent a lot of time with me detailing out all the things wrong with the suit and didn't charge me a dime. By this time I had already washed the pants as the store manager asked me to. When I brought it back in, he immediately recognized me and ran to the register and started demanding to know what was wrong. I told him what my tailor said and his immediate response was "I'm the suit doctor, your tailor doesn't know what she's talking about. I want to know who she is" I was baffled by the lack of professionalism in how he addressed all of it. He rejected the return as I had washed the pants and said that I was in the wrong for washing them but he did admit that he told me to do it in the first place but only conveniently telling me that I should have known to dry clean it instead. We went back and forth and he was adamant that he was right about everything and I was wrong about the suit. I return the jacket and kept the useless pants. I ended up going to 3 different suit stores the next day in Santana Row and got a fitting with a professional each time. All of them told me that they would be embarrassed to sell me a suit like that when I showed them the photos. They were all amazing but I ended up going with SuitSupply. Please if you are thinking of going here, you are better off at the SuitSupply in Santana Row and it is 1000% worth the extra drive and time. They are booked up but it is for a reason. It costs the same the one I bought at this store but looks better and there was much...
Read moreVery, very TERRIBLE experience with this store. Had a pickup for Tuesday, 7PM. They call at 6PM and say "a tailor called in sick" (at 6PM? Couldn't they have told me before i left work?)...... They tried to push it back to SATURDAY, which is when the event was (in the morning..). I pushed back and they agreed to Thursday, 7PM. I arrived at 7:30PM on Thursday..and was told it wasn't ready.....same story about tailor, backed up......and they try and push it back again till Friday. Thanks a lot. All I can say is; they don't value your time. They didn't even bother to call and tell me NOT TO COME down to their location, which is in a TERRIBLE traffic location. They had no excuses when questioned about how someone could not communicate that they hadn't met their (already late) commitment.
EDIT 9/9: -- They finally did meet the final deadline. Terrible in-store service and attentiveness still pervades their retail employees. They ask other people if they need help before asking the person clearly trying to pick something up. They stand around and gab about internal work related gossip instead of helping their customers. Will never come back to this chain...

I rented a suit from Menâs Wearhouse for my friendâs wedding, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The suit wasnât even ready until the day of the wedding â despite multiple promises that it would be ready earlier. When I finally got it, it didnât fit whatsoever. I had already come in for multiple fittings, so thereâs really no excuse for how badly they missed the mark.
The jacket was too tight, the pants were the wrong length, and the alterations that were supposedly done clearly werenât. When I tried to get help, no one seemed remotely interested in assisting. Every employee I spoke with looked irritated to even be there â like helping customers was somehow an inconvenience.
The customer service was atrocious from beginning to end: dismissive, unprofessional, and totally indifferent to the fact that I was about to attend a wedding in a suit that didnât fit.
If youâre renting for an important event, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Menâs Wearhouse completely dropped the ball and made what should have been a fun day unnecessarily stressful....
