I had my appointment with Juli October 19 it is now November 19. I’ve only now heard from her because I’ve called and I’ve called and I called and finally asked for a manager to complain and she finally called me back. Juli came to my house as a personal designer, she had me very excited since she was gonna send stuff to me right away. I was gonna start getting lots of stuff from her this weekend. Let her know if I absolutely hate it. And what do I love she warned me. She was gonna send me so many text messages and to let her know if she was bugging me ,, , I never received one not a text. Not a call. Not an email. finally, two weeks later, I called the store. The person who answered said yes Juli is right next to me hold for a second. She got back on the line and said oh, can I take your information? Once she’s done with a customer. Does she call me back? Nope.. that happened twice finally a month later I called to talk to another manager. I told the person on the phone why I was super upset because they answer their phone lines like . “Ask us about our personal designers. Why ??!! if they won’t even call you or message you. After they literally come to your house! Well, guess who calls me today? Juli! I couldn’t answer so she sent me a text then because I didn’t respond right away. She says I’ve sent you a couple messages. Like don’t try to gaslight me like you’ve been trying to reach me ! I told her I wanted to talk to a manager. She said she wasn’t. I’m sure she’s just the manager on the floor, but there’s somebody else over her I want to talk to, but are said it’s her. So I guess I’m forced to just leave a review since she’s the highest up and can’t do her job . She told me my husband’s been sick. But she’s been at work. She could’ve easily called me on one of her many shifts. She’s been at to let me know if she wasn’t interested or wasn’t able to get back to me, but she never did. She just brushed me off.. I hundred percent don’t recommend working with Juli . In a way I’m kind of glad she didn’t send me anything cause I told her. I had a farmhouse and I’m going away from that to organic minimalist. Then she asked me. How would you like cow hide chairs? Like wtf lol think they need to upgrade their design team if Juli is the main one as she claims...
Read moreWe have thought long and hard before posting a review for pottery barn itself because we love the quality and also because we have had excellent experiences at pottery barn Monterey, New Port and Ontario. But!!! The Fresno location is extremely rude and snooty. My wife has gone in serval time and when she goes in alone they treat her better than when they see me go in with her because of my appearance. I am Hispanic male with tattoos and a shaved head and that’s what they see. But I am a hard working local small business owner who strives to be able to afford great quality furniture. And pottery barn Fresno doesn’t know how to appreciate local business owner nor Hispanic consumers. When I go in with my wife they refer us to HomeGoods. I don’t understand why the fresno local employees act this way, they are just giving pottery barn a bad name. I have had great customer service experience at New Port where they have a reason to act snooty, but they don’t they act very humble, and are polite to all customers. We told him about our experience and Fresno and the customer representative at Newport store, gave us their card so we can reach out to them instead of the fresno store. We live in Madera and have a new built home and wanted to decorate so we tried pottery barn design team that is a joke the first time we had an appointment it was at Pottery Barn in fig garden and they ended up referring us to HomeGoods. The second time we made an at home appointment and they canceled it and said they did not have enough personnel if we can do a virtual one. Well I think I am going to reach to the new port sales representative better and do my purchase through them versus the fresno store. So yes we still love pottery barn but not Fresno...
Read moreThe young man manning the front door ended up ringing our purchase and from the moment we walked in to the moment we paid his tone of voice was not very welcoming. I hated the fact that he was the only person around to ring us up as my initial impression of him was not a good one. The experience at the register was not any better as my husband did have his PB credit card (he seldom carries his retail credit cards) and the associate seemed bothered and inconvenienced to have to call for our account # and at one point, before ringing the merchandise, he told my husband, "next time bring your card." I am a frequent shopper at PB and I have never known PB associates to be rude on the contrary they are always so gracious and ready to assist you with any questions you may have or assist you with your shopping needs.
