We’ve lived near Fig Garden Village for 34 years but today was only my second time to eat at this cafe. We usually eat at the La boulangerie on the other side of the village. As a matter of fact we went to the la boo but it was so busy we decided to try out the Patio Cafe. Having now dined here I would say that the la boo now has competition for my business. I enjoyed being seated and having a server which one no longer gets Al the la boo - they’ve gone self- service :( My wife and I both ordered salads - the “petite” salads which are smaller and less expensive. I think my wife’s was a crab cob while I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad. As you can see from my pics our salads were mammoth. Our salads came with bread and butter and were fully sufficient as a meal in themselves. Most importantly, they were very good, along with the friendly service. Although I didn’t order any wine or beer I was glad to have the option. We each had a cappuccino with our salads. Important to note the have outdoor dining and very importantly their restrooms are CLEAN. 10/10 will eat here again.

I'm giving it 5 stars because I really enjoyed my meal, it was 100% worth the money, and I like to support local businesses. However, there were a couple very small things that needed improvement... It's the pandemic, so there's an outdoor tent for seating - but no clear area to check in with a host. The host saw us and told us to sit in the back, but we kind of got lost and invisible to the staff back there. No big deal - we were tended to eventually and they were very friendly. Also there was a curtain that kept hitting my boyfriend because it wasn't secured. I got the crab cake benedict, and it didn't say on the menu that it came with any sides. It ended up arriving with country potatoes (I would've preferred a different side) and the country potatoes were very bland. I know it's rude to ask for salt, but I wasn't going to eat them otherwise. They brought me salt packets instead of a shaker (because of the pandemic?). Anyway, I'm being very nit-picky. It was indeed a great meal. The crab cake benedict was perfectly executed and worth every penny. Will be back!

This is a cute little eatery for a quick bite. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor area has a swamp cooler fan to help keep the area cool. Large selection of breakfast items and lunch on the menu at a reasonable price. The food looked and tasted great! Bread from La Boulangerie bakery was fresh and sooo good. Servers were kind and attentive. Only negatives which may discourage me from returning: hair in my water and food on silverware. I returned the water and asked for clean silverware, but this is something the restaurant should pay more attention to. Cleanliness is very important, regardless of food presentation. The salad pictured up close is the Thai chicken salad (petite size). Picture of 2 salads includes Thai chicken and the Mediterranean chicken. I visited during the lunch hour on 80 degree weather day during the week, sat outside with no wait. Very enjoyable place to have lunch.

Having worked in customer service management for 13 years, I can tell you that business hours are business hours. You open when you open. And you close when you close. All the minutes in between those times are supposed to be spent servicing your customers. From the moment we walked into this cafe on a Sunday (25 minutes till closing time) we were hurried out the door like we were a pest. We were actually greeted with the line “Hello! We are closing!” At least they said hello. So we assured them “Don’t worry. We don’t want anything big from your kitchen. Maybe just a coffee, pastry and some fruit for our toddler.” They obliged by giving us what we asked for and we took a seat on the patio. The server came out about 15 minutes to close and started stacking chairs. Before she had finished she looked up and told us she “needed to collect all the pillows” on the patio benches. In order to not make it anymore awkward, I started to hand her ours because we could just sit on the wooden bench and let our 2 year old finish her tomatoes. The server then became agitated with me and said “I’ll need to lock up the tables too. We are closing!” Still 10 minutes on the clock. So we took the cue and started to wrap things up and leave. By the time the kiddo was in her car seat and my wife was in the car it was a couple minutes to closing time and the area where we had sat was still as we left it. For all the hurrying the server put us through she didn’t even need that time for what she told us it was for. Pretty much took the entire exchange as a passive aggressive BUZZ OFF! Wish I hadn’t tipped her at the register on our check since she really did nothing but the bare minimum for us. This was our first time visiting this cafe and will certainly be the last. Like I said, closed is closed. The business hours on your sign are for conducting business with your customers. Cleanup and get yourself ready to go home after the clock strikes closing time. I gave the cafe 2 stars because the servers chose not to turn us...

Nice patio to hang out at. Pet friendly patio, they bring out water bowls for the dogs. Service took a while….. so be prepared to wait around, for both food & checks. Waited through with my girl friends so time wasn’t an issue for us.

I ordered sweet cream and berries French toast. The server brought me a stuffed French toast. I just said oh I don’t think this one is my order I ordered the berry French toast. She brought me back the same exact plate of stuffed French toast which had like apples, blueberry and cream cheese inside but this time it was topped with a drizzle of cream and berries thrown on top. I didn’t order the stuffed French toast bc the filling didn’t seem appealing to me.. it was a very thin and flat French toast as well. I didn’t like it but I didn’t say anything further bc I’m just not confrontation.. I know servers can go through a lot, however it was super disappointing. I also want to note the stuffed French toast came with nuts on it- so that’s scary that they ignored that I ordered something nut free and they brought me something with nuts. And then “correcting” my dish by disguising it with the toppings from the other French toast I originally ordered. I am not allergic but I do want to point that out for people with allergies. I would avoid going. Sad I didn’t get what I actually ordered.

Coffee was not that great but they’re good about refills.

They tried to drop off mimosas we didn’t order that was supposed to go to a diff table and then the servers behind us were kind of irritated that our server had told them to get drinks that had already been delivered to the table.

Ordered sweet potato hash to go. My bf enjoyed it. Said I should have just ordered that.

Overall, not super impressed with quality of food or service. Nice area though, decent amount of umbrellas for shade. I think breakfast/brunch somewhere else in the area might have...

The service staff were "polite" but not friendly. In fact the manager was RUDE!!!! They completely forgot to make my husbands breakfast so we had wait for them to even start his breakfast after ours was completely served letting our food get cold with barely an acknowledgment. After we ate, I realized they put all four of our meals on separate tickets (even though I told them the four of us in our group were together). I stacked them up and put the card on top. She brought them back with the only first one paid asking for the other cards. I explained they are all on the same card. She acted like it was the end of the world. Instead of just ringing the other three meals, she returned the first one put them all four on one ticket then rang them up. This took SEVERAL minutes. When we were finally presented with a bill I noticed the meal prices were completely DIFFERENT from the individual tickets (like breakfast went from 25.00 to 14.00)!? On top of that, I quietly leaned over and said, when your're struggling this much you may not want to assume I want to pay such a large tip. She yelled at me in front of all of the customers "What do you want me to do take away his tip?" It was so embarrassing!! I responded, "No, I just wanted you to think about it for the future." She RUDELY open the cash register grabbed some cash and tried to hand to my husband. He declined and said we don't want the tip back. She turned to me as we were walking away and GRABBED MY PURSE and shoved the money on top!! As I got outside I realized she had actually shoved 2 twenties in the top of my purse! She's lucky I don't charge her with assault. We NEVER go back! Unbelievable! I only gave one star because it won't post...
