Looks like if you go to Fleming's and order the special that they flood your email inbox with, you'll be served subpar food and treated disrespectfully when complaining about the food that was not cooked to order. After receiving about 10 emails on their filet mignon special, my husband and I decided to go in on 07/27/18 to order that special. You would think that an establishment that thinks they are a high-end Steakhouse would know how to cook something that they're supposedly famous for. But don't go in expecting your steak to be cooked as you ordered it. My husband ordered his medium rare and I ordered mine medium telling the waiter I didn't want any red but pink was okay. He suggested getting it cooked medium plus which he explained was between medium and medium well. I reiterated to the waiter that as long as it had no red in it, I was okay with some pink. Our steaks were served to us, and not only did mine not look like a regular filet mignon like they advertise in the several emails and on their website, but when I looked at the plate, underneath the steak there was steak blood. I cut into my steak, and it was a disgustingly deep raw red color with the blood oozing out. It was disgusting and I just about lost my appetite. My husband's steak was about the same but a tiny bit more cooked so he decided to take mine since he ordered his medium-rare. Cutting into his, I was still disgusted as it was still red with red juices flowing and still misshapen. I called the waiter back and showed it to him and told him I could not eat that. He took it back and rather than the kitchen cooking me a brand new steak, which a supposed high-end Steakhouse should do, they brought the same stake back which was over cooked on the edges and still red on the inside. Since my husband was sitting there letting his steak get cold waiting for mine to be brought back to me, I decided to just eat the few portions that weren't overcooked or undercooked. It was an extremely dissatisfying meal and I ended up going home and feeling very sick. By the way, it was the manager Gabriel who brought my steak back out to me and offered no form of apology nor did he offer to take the steak off the tab. Not only that, I paid $4 for a lemonade and it was impossible to get the waiter's attention to get a refill on the lemonade. At the end of the meal I was finally able to get one to refill of a glass of lemonade that was mostly ice. So for $4, I had maybe about five sips total of pretty bad tasting lemonade. Even with the special, because of the sides that we ordered, which weren't that great, our tab was still over $150, just for TWO people. I emailed the corporate office through their website to tell them about my experience, and I even got an email with a link to rate my experience as I booked it through Dine Rewards. Both emails I sent, corporate office and dine rewards, I explained my dissatisfaction with my meal. The only email I received back a few days later was from the corporate office with a link asking me to vote if I was 'satisfied' or 'dissatisfied' with the contact that I received from the Fresno Fleming's. I voted that I was DISSATISFIED as no one from the Fresno Fleming's contacted me. I replied to corporate by email also telling them how disappointed I was that no one responded to me or contacted me to discuss my experience. With all that, I still have not received any type of contact from anyone at Fleming's to discuss my terrible experience. Until I am contacted and offered some type of compensation for the horrible meal I got, even if it was just at the special price, I will not be returning to this location or to any Fleming's. I reiterate that I feel Fleming's doesn't appreciate the customers who come in to only order the specials that they bombard your email inbox with. My husband and his business partner had their company Christmas dinner at Fleming's last year and were thinking of doing it again at Fleming's this year. I will be encouraging...
Read moreThe customer service was SUPERB! Our waitress and other Fleming Customer Service Representatives were constantly making sure that we were comfortable and satisfied. They constantly monitored and observed us and knew the perfect times to intervene to inquire if we wanted more food, etc...
The food, all of the food we ordered was prepared to our specific desires.
I was once told that you get what you pay for. We spent close to $300 and it was definitely worth every dollar. Certain experiences are priceless. Dining at Fleming's, this specific Fleming's, was a priceless experience.
The atmosphere is perfect for an individual, family, or a couple. As a photographer, lighting means everything to me when it comes to attempting to create a certain mood. The lighting in this particular Fleming's was set perfect over the white tablecloth, draped tables. The lighting helped to set a tone in my memory that of I were to catch amnesia, I believe that particular memory will be retained.
I looked around at the employees working and clients eating and I didn't see one sad or melancholy face. Everyone had smiles on their faces, laughing and enjoying the moment. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves. It is an time we will NEVER forget and the thing about it is that all we did was pray, talk, laugh, plan, and ate good food. I have included some images of the food we ordered which the images really don't give justice to how good the food tasted.
As you read this review you may be thinking 🤔 what I have written above has nothing to do with Fleming's at all and more to do with my experience. If you are thinking that, you're wrong. It has everything to do with Fleming's. Whenever I go out to eat, to me it is about more than just food. It is about a unique experience that will bring happiness to your heart, mind, body, and soul each time you think about it.
I am hoping that someone who has read this will experience this in their own best experience and gain an understanding of what I have written. If you arrive at such an indelible moment at this Fleming's, you can thank me later.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Fleming's Prime Steakhouse in...

1st off beautiful and elegant restaurant design. The large, clear window into the kitchen gives big city vibes. The use of rich wood tones throughout, simple yet chic furnishing, and the elegant table settings make you feel like you're NOT in Fresno anymore.
All of the staff was exceptional and attentive, but my favorite person was Lance V! What a friendly and classy server. He was knowledgeable and very welcoming, and leaving his card....so Gangster 🤩.
Bread, butter, and mystery cheese like spread were dangerously good. We started with the beef carpaccio, a first for us, and it did not disappoint.
Shareable sides-Mashed potatoes (simple/basic), Crispy Brussel sprouts with bacon (mid), and Chipotle cheddar Mac and cheese (Holy cow...smokey and delicious and worth every calorie).
Ordered the USDA, Tomahawk to share and petite filet. The Tomahawk was cooked perfectly and had a beautiful and dramatic presentation with that long bone, but to be honest, the petite filet had so much more flavor and was just seasoned better.
We ordered dessert to go. Chocolate gooey butter cake and the bananas foster bread pudding. The chocolate butter cake melts in your mouth, so damn good! The banana bread pudding I REALLY wanted to like, but it's a texture thing. I'm sure it was exactly how it was supposed to be it just wasn't for us, and 1 mushy bite was enough, lol.
Overall, it was one of the nicest dining experiences we've had all year. Yes, It's a chain restaurant but certainly doesn't eat or feel that way. Great job, Fleming's Fresno!
*Salted Carmel expresso Martini-friggin delicious. Perfectly poured old fashioned.
