Worst Experience Ever! Never Again!
Tonight, my family and I had dinner at this restaurant, a place weâve frequented for years. The meal was okay, but what happened afterward was a nightmare.
After leaving the restaurant, it took less than 3-4 minutes for me to realize I had left my car key on the table. I immediately went back inside and told the lady at the entrance. She claimed no lost items had been turned in and said the table had already been cleared. When I asked to check the table myself, I saw that it had been cleaned, and the paper tablecloth had been bundled up and thrown away.
I asked if we could check the trash since the key might still be there. To my shock, the lady pulled a bundled tablecloth, presumed to be ours, from the trash, flipped it upside down, glanced at a few large items, and said, âSee? Nothingâs there.â She didnât even try to search carefully for a small item like a car key. Instead, she dismissed me and walked away, leaving my husband and me to dig through the trash ourselves.
What should have been a pleasant family dinner turned into a disgusting ordeal. Wearing gloves, my husband and I had to sift through piles of trash in the corner of the restaurant. There was so much waste that it seemed impossible to find anything. As a last resort, we asked to bring the trash bin near our car to see if the key was inside. (The car doors would unlock if the key was nearby.) The manager reluctantly agreed.
When we brought the trash bin near the car, the doors unlockedâproving the key was inside. Reluctantly, we continued searching through the filthy trash. At the very bottom, surrounded by disgusting waste, we found the key.
A staff member eventually came over to apologize and sanitized the key, but the apology felt insincere, as if they just wanted to get rid of us quickly.
Hereâs the real issue: The staff failed to check the table for personal items before bundling up everything and throwing it away. When we reported the missing key, the lady carelessly flipped the tablecloth upside down and dismissed us without properly searching. Her actions caused the key to sink further into the trash, forcing us to dig through the filthiest part. Throughout the ordeal, the staff offered no meaningful help. My husband and I were left to handle the entire disgusting process alone.
To anyone dining here: BEWARE! Never leave anything behind, even for a moment. If you do, you might end up digging through a trash bin like we did.
I hope the restaurant owner reads this and takes action to ensure no one else has to endure such a degrading experience. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining...
   Read moreI've always been a fan of Boiling Crabs so everytime something opens up in town with same concept I'm always down to try! Finally got the chance to try this place since the restaurants are now slowly opening back up. Arrived around 6pm there was a party ahead of us so there was a bit of a wait probably about 30 mins, which wasn't too terrible. They complied with the social distancing. The workers wore masks and they blocked off a table between each party. They also have signs that were posted as a friendly reminder to keep masks on when in the restaurant with exceptions of sitting at your table of course. I also like the fact that they were constantly wipe everything down and the front door after each party/ customer enters and exits.
Super cute interior and very clean, it really does resembles a Boiling Crabs. I love the fact that they have the sinks out in the open instead of going to the bathrooms. It makes it so much easier such a brilliant idea!
The customer service here is amazing! Everyone was so nice, polite and friendly. They have a special going on right now $2.99 on all draft beers. My fiance and I both got a Sapporo it was very delicious and cold.
We ordered fresh raw oysters 12 pieces, Combo #3 we chose lobster and shrimp, 2 order of mussels because they ran out of clams (sad face) in the House Special sauce mild spice and 2 order of steam rice. The steam rice portion here is smaller compared to similar restaurants. The flavor of the House Special was good I think it was well seasoned although I kinda wish it tasted like the "whole shabang" like Boiling Crabs it was nothing like it, but close enough and tasty regardless.
Our server came with a big bucket to place the trash in and inside there was bibs, plastic gloves, tools to open the shells of the sea food and an abundance of lemon. Kinda disappointed they did have the clear containers with pepper so we could squeeze the lime and dip the seafood in it. We had to ask for the little containers and for salt the pepper to make the dipping sauce and they responded nicely to our request.

   Read moreI had to give only 2 stars. I have been here on several occasions and always order the GARLIC AND BUTTER SAUCE NO SPICE COMBO NUMBER 2 WITH A LOBSTER. I went in on my Birthday again and my feelings were very hurt.
1st the waitress argued with me. I stated I wanted Butter and Garlic sauce NO SPICE she kept saying garlic butter mild spice I repeated my self several times. She continues ro insist mild means no spice. We all know mild means very.little spice but its spice. She placed the order wrong any way stating I ordered garilc butter mild. I brought it up to her and the waitress blamed me first for ordering wrong, keep in mind she is the one who.kept saying mild I kept saying no spice.
The order comes and of course mine is wrong because it has spice in it. I can not eat any spice at all. I tell her its wrong. The waitress again tries to argue with me about my order. Keep in mind again this is not the first time I ordered this item at this restaurant and location. She takes it away because of course I cant eat it blamimg new staff being trained and they are not familair with butter garlic sauce yet. Really?? Why would she blame them. Its GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE NO SPICE.
My dinner was 220 dollars and the waitress took my order wrong and all they were willing to do was take $30 off my bill. My dinner should have been free.
The waitress was horrible. I wish I.knew.her name. She never.once took responsibility for HER mistake. After wards I asked her since she bled me.for ordering wrong how I should have ordered, she stated JUST GARLIC AND BUTTER. REALLY!!?? I SAID THAT 5 TIMES AND MY HUSBAND ALSO SAID NO.SPICE I CANT TOLLERATE SPICE.How do you not take responsibility for your mistake. What a shame.
