Best Budget Inn Fresno — Hotel in Fresno

Never never ever again!!! Wow! I have never slept in a more uncomfortable place In my life! I should have slept in my car! I was driving from Yosemite to Fontana and hit that point where I could not stay awake any longer. I tried all the hotels in the area with no luck!!! Finally one hotel recommended this area and I stumbled upon best budget. The first room they put me in had bugs everywhere! Even inside the individually wrapped plastic cups. At this point I asked for a refund. They lady said no refund different room. The second room didn’t have any bugs but there were burn marks on the sheets and red stains on the pillows. :( I left all my stuff in the car, slept for 3 hours with all the lights on and got out of there as quick...

clean. small. safe location great price but the bathroom/toilet was so tight. I am small. 5'5" and thin but I couldn't fit my legs in front of toilet. I had to turn sideways to use. We got in late as we were here for a cross country event and we were only sleeping here for a few hours . I was a little concerned because of some of the reviews regarding safety and cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised. very clean. safe. very nice staff. room was a little noisy as there is a large boulevard in front. This is an old motor lodge-style hotel. The exterior is a bit dated but the rooms had been renovated and didn't look old or run-down. Located close to a busy street, there was some traffic noise but nothing too terrible. The man at the front desk was very friendly and offered restaurant recommendations, and allowed us to sit by the pool after the designated closing time. Be aware--the front desk is not open 24 hours, so you have to arrive by 10pm for check-in or you'll get locked out. Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable.
