Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews — Restaurant in Fresno

I will never ever eat at this location ever again. I've been coming to this restaurant for every family occasion and with my last experience here will be my last. I came in reserving a table for a party of 10 the host told me it will be about 30 minutes wait. As time gone and customers are being seated I asked the host if we can be seated at our table since since the middle section where they usually sit a big group of people at was empty. She told me no and that we would have to wait till 4 more people from my party shows up and I said they are running late and already on thier way. Still she didnt want to sit us 45 mins to an hour passed and I told her I want cancel my party of 10 and can you just sit my family. She told me fine but if the rest of ur party shows up we cant sit you guys together. So they put us in a booth. My husband was upset and didnt understand why she couldnt sit us together once they all showed up. So we ask our waitress if it was possible to sit at the big table in the middle while we wait for our party and we can order drinks and appetizers and she said yes thats no problem. When the rest of my party showed up the hostess asked how many people for ur party to be seated and my nephew answered her my aunt is already here and her respose with an attitude "who Jasmin?!" With a disgusting face. With that response my nephew and his wife was confused and upset why she is being rude.My son was hungry and thirsty all we wanted was to be seated at our table order some drinks and appetizers as we wait for the rest of our family. I dont understand why she couldnt sit us down when the restaurant was slow and no one sitting in the middle section. When I have been there before with a party of 20 people and the last hostess sat us down when there was 10 of us there. When we received our fries it was only like 8-10 very skimp. When we paid they made my nephew pay twice because on thier end didnt show it went through even though he showed them on his end on his bank app that the payment went through and took the payment out of his account. Even after a week and half he tried getting his money back the manager on duty still gave him a hard time and a whole run around even after talking to the bank and to apple pay stating its the restaurant that needs to release the refund. You guys were rude arguing with him trying to offer him a gift card of $100 when he stated he didnt want that and wanted his money back and after you guys didnt want to give him his money back and told him you couldn't do nothing about it but as soon as he left his money was released. All around my family and I experience at this location was terrible to the point we will start driving to the clovis location where they know how to treat customers. I give 3 stars because the food was phenomenal (I ordered a mushroom burger) however, I have to say our waitress was not on her A game this evening. She was rather slow and not efficient whatsoever. I had to get up and take my cup with me and ask for a refill because I got tired of waiting for her to come and ask. I won't say she was rude but she definitely wasn't pleasant to speak to. She was very monotoned in her responses and at times almost seemed burdened by us asking for such things as napkins and silverware that should've been on the table prior to us sitting down. I can go on but I feel my point has been made. To clarify, in not saying our experience was terrible by any means but it could've been memorable had our server been a little more assertive and maybe, prompt. That's all.....actually, the little machine at our table that is supposed to make paying for your meal more convenient did the exact opposite of that and just put the icing on the cake to our somewhat unpleasant visit and I'll tell you why....first, since my father is kind of old school but is somewhat tech savvy, apparently he found it somewhat difficult to operate said machine. So the manager had to come over and assist and also, had slight difficulty in operating the machine. Then once it finally allowed the credit card to go through, wouldn't you know, it didn't print out our receipt like supposed to (of course, right?) So after standing by where the servers go to get their food and being ignored for a short bit, a manager finally decided to stop and ask what it was I needed to which I informed her of the absence of the receipt. She genuinely apologized and immeduately fetched us the receipt. NOOOOOW, that's it.... Final rating: mediocre at...

Unfortunately, we went back to Red Robin after almost a year, after giving them 4 stars in my first visit, I had to update it to 2 stars at this time. It was my son’s birthday and he wanted to go there, a Tuesday afternoon, it wasn’t busy, few waiters only. We were greeted and seated and Shane was our waiter. He was very friendly and helpful. We order for appetizers wings bone -in and cheese sticks. They were out of wings, boneless wings and chicken tenders as a kids option, it’s ok. The cheese sticks, big plate like 8-10 pcs , but way below the average, We ordered then avocado smashed burger, it wasn’t bad but for Red Robin as burger place ….. it could be way better. We ordered kids cheese burger for my daughter, honestly speaking… the worst ever, even a kid could tell that and she ate less than half of it. My wife ordered grilled salmon, I know that she shouldn’t, but she likes salmon, unfortunately it was dry, over cooked and garnished with old smashed mini potato I guess and broccoli, the amount of broccoli was decent, but in general as a meal , no no no !!! We ordered whiskey River ribs, they were too dry. I ordered avocado chicken salad, it was good. The funny part is about BOTTOMLESS FRIES, we had 3 basket of fries exactly right after we put the food order, 3 baskets with almost 20 pieces of fries in all of them. We asked what are those, the waiter answered no worries, it’s bottomless!!!! The second round with with the brownie cake that was really…. Not good.
