Yesterday, one of my best friends that is getting married in August came here to try on wedding dresses and brought me along with two of her sister in laws. We didnāt have an appointment but called to see if we could walk in and by the time we got there a bride was leaving and we were so excited my friend could get in to try on dresses! Weāve been to multiple stores and she hasnāt had the moment of finding her dress anywhere but when we came here things changed.. we thought for the better until the end of the appointment. She tried on a few dresses that were pulled off the rack by the consultant AFTER asking her what her budget was. My friends budget is $2500 which she just recently upped to try to have more options. We figured since the consultant had asked her budget before pulling dresses that all of them would range maybe $1500-2500 ($2500 being absolute most) when we saw a certain dress pulled we all though wow that one has something about it and could be the one. That was left for last which Iām sure was on purpose. She did like other dresses but once she came out in that last one it was EVERYTHING sheās been looking for and absolutely perfect. She tried on the veil as you would when youāre loving a dress but to REALLY get into it the consultant asked her what her ceremony song was and to walk down holding a bouquet and imagine herself walking down. Of course she loved the dress before this but now sheās crying having her wedding dress moment Iām crying her sister in law is crying, we take photos of her saying yes to the dress a video of her being asked after she gets dressed we took more photos just so excited she found her dress since we donāt have much time AND because itās the dress of her dreams. Like I said before budget was $2500 which was told. Consultant comes back telling her itās $3600. $1100 OVER BUDGET WITHOUT TAX YET!!! Not to mention the veil was $600 which obviously is an extra accessory but the main problem is my friend was tricked and lied to about this dress being completly over budget. Iām sure the consultant was hoping sheād fall in love with it so much sheād spend the extra $1100, but guess what in todays economy not everyone can do that especially when my friend is an amazing mother of 4 and planning her wedding very soon and having to spend on all vendors extremely quick. The shop ended up saying theyād give her 20% off which brought it down to $3200 which is still over budget. When we were told the price we were all SHOCKED and Iāve never been so heartbroken for someone because I know exactly what it feels like to say yes to a dress have that whole moment but fortunately I DONT know what it feels like to have that ripped away from me so Iām devastated my friend does. I did ask the consultant myself if the budget was $2500 what would make her pull a $3600 dress without telling her. She said she thought it was $2600-3,000 which still doesnāt make any sense because thatās still OVER BUDGET. To top it off, she had her try on another dress after having her moment and it just wasnāt the same (because how could it be?) at this point weāre all discouraged and extremely upset. The consultant told her that maybe it was just the ceremony song that made her fall in love with the dress so she should try other. Her song did not make her fall in love with it, it just put the cherry on top. We felt that was rude and manipulative to say to a bride, may I add the most deserving bride that has waited for this day for a long time. As I do understand people do make mistakes, you donāt make this type of mistake and also we didnāt feel much sympathy from anyone that worked here. I also talked to an assistant manager about what could be done and no one budged. I asked her if she as well thinks thatās heartbreaking and she continued to tell me when she got married she tried on 100 dresses⦠I didnāt ask how much dresses she tried on but I did asked if she got her heart ripped out by having her whole wedding dress moment just to get told itās extremely over budget. She said No, lucky...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the most absolute worst experience any bride can ever go through while dress shopping for my special day. For starters I'm getting married in 4 months so I donāt have a lot of time to look for a dress, I had an appointment scheduled for the following week that was the only available Saturday left, so I was dress shopping at other places tried on many beautiful dresses but have not found the ONE! I called to asked if I could possibly do a walk in that same day to try dresses on and get this process going quicker, they actually had just finished appointments with other brides and were able to squeeze me in which was super nice! Once I told the consultant what style I was looking for and was very clear about my dress budget being $2500 max she started to pull dresses for me that were in my budget. I was starting to get super high hopes as I was trying on dresses we started off very strong with beautiful dresses I was starting to think I was going to find my dream wedding dress here. As she saved the best for last of course and it was absolutely catching my attention the entire time. I had a feeling that was going to be the one and soon enough I tried it on and immediately fell in love with it and she knew it. The consultant had me try on the veil and accessories and bouquet with the dress and asked me what my ceremony song was so I can walk down and get the full experience in my dress. In that moment I just knew this was the perfect dress for me it was absolutely everything and more! This was an extremely emotional time for me and I cried my eyes out because I was 100% sure this was the dress Iām saying yes to which I did! We took pictures and everything it was an emotional experience with my bridesmaids I was extremely happy to have finally found the one! As I have committed to this beautiful dress I come to find out I have been tricked into falling in love with a dress that was more than $1100 over my budget which was absolutely heartbreaking and a very unprofessional sales tactic the consultant was hoping I would actually pay way over my budget just because I loved it so much! She then tried to swindle me with payment plans which was not the principle. She should have consulted with me first with the price of the dress before trying on as she KNEW how much it was. You are not supposed to pull dresses for someone completely out of there budget without asking. This made me so sick to my stomach and very discouraged. She tried to find more dresses for me to try on which was not the same after thinking I found the one! This whole thing was just embarrassing! To have someone walk down to there wedding ceremony song with the dress of my dreams and completely rip that away from me was just beyond horrible I wouldnāt wish this on any bride and I would advice any future brides to avoid to shop at this place! After telling the consultant and assistant manager that was not okay and what they did was completely wrong and more they absolutely had no compassion for me and did not care about what...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was super nervous dress shopping, and this was my first dress store that I was going to. I had been dreading going dress shopping this whole time and I really had no idea what I wanted. I didn't know if I wanted a tight fit a loosely fit dress or what style. The associate Anna worked with me gave me different options of what I showed her off of Pinterest made me super comfortable trying on Dresses. She gave me the dresses stepped out, let me get dressed then came back in to close the back. After about 4 dresses, I hadn't found the one, She asked me what I was looking for. I described the dress that I thought would look nice with my body type. Anna wasn't pushy. She was super calm. Which helped me feel calm and she was very very nice. She picked up the perfect dress and when I put it on, we all knew it was the one. The associates are really good about not giving their opinions on you in The dresses. When they saw the look on my face and how excited I was, they all agreed that it was the perfect dress. I really appreciate it. Anna feel comfortable her presence, The way she listened to me and my vision And most importantly, the way she didn't give her own opinions and let me decide for myself that it Was the dress for me. When she rang me up, I thought I was going to be over budget But we were actually $100 under budget so this was an all-around win! Everybody in the store is kind, helpful and make you feel comfortable. I...
