Ax-Man Surplus Stores — Local services in Fridley

I really gotta say, go check this place out if you haven't already!! This is actually their second of three locations and I got a bunch of photos for you all to see! Seriously, this place has a little something for everyone! I mean really, they have a bunch of this and that, backpacks, fabric to make backpacks (or fix one), boxes for packing or moving, electrical supply's for a handy person fixing a light, or an artist who wants to create an electrical piece of art! Stuff for Kids, Mom's, and especially Dad's! Where else can you find a place with a whole isle of different kinds of ductape, 50 mannequin heads, transistors and wiring, speakers, ping pong balls & bowling pins, corks, an O-ring selection that rivals your local hardware store for sure, and tons of cool convienant trinkets and even some knickknacks, or like what I found today was awesome, because it was exactly what I needed! So earlier in the day, I found out I was in need of an Auxillary Patch cord, 3.5mm cable splitter & 3.5mm to 1/4 inch converter so I could split the headphone signal coming from the DJ mixer. I found all of it right there at AxMan, for only a fraction of what it would have cost me at a "big brand" electronics store (only $3.75 for all ⁿ9 totally Sukt aZsholez, then they can...

Ax-Man is the place for almost anything you need to do some tinkering with electronics, , fixing almost anything you could possibly fix , , making and or building any hair brain ideas you, and or the kids want to create.... Ax-Man has everything, tools, bearings , older electronics , electric motors, wrapping paper, games , toys , hats , clothes , old military-helmets bags-ammo boxes-gloves ,, mad scientist beaker tubes , I could go on and on about the Ax-Man... I can spend hours in Ax-Man and I never can walk out the door without going home with something, and more times then not, have left with more then a few bags of goodies... Thank you Ax-Man for making a grown man excited and happy everytime I stop on in and have a great time in your store... Thank you...

Unique to its own personal touch. Many different and unique finds. But make sure you check prices. The first time i had visited this place. Ive notice one guy extra extra charge 2-3 times the price for alot of the smaller items that I had bought in quantities of like 4-8 peices. And which they were to have only cost around $0.29-$0.45 PER peice. He had charged me twice the amount and twice the quantity. Spent over $100 on random stuff. But that has been a typical amount for every visit i make to this place. Agian planty of unique finds and sometimes have pretty good deals on things I need for little simple project. Overall i do like this place other then random prices when at check out some items can be defected like the mini power...
