Viral Card Games — Local services in Fridley

I’ve gone to this location multiple times and all those times I was UNAWARE that we’re supposedly paying for the shipping cost too EVEN THOUGH we are purchasing cards inside the shop. (Trust me I’m confused too) For example, if I was told $125 for a single card (which the person I was working with said that it was the lowest verified price on TCG), I then decided to check the TCG website to see how much the same exact card is (just to double check) and I came across a lower certified price for $120 on TCG that is verified, brought up the difference in the price to the worker and they said that the extra $5 was due to SHIPPING!! So basically… the card is $120 but they worker said it was $125 due to the $5 shipping fee… I know that it’s just $5 extra but… this SHOULD BE MADE CLEAR TO ALL CUSTOMERS IF THATS THE CASE. Also if you come to trade cards, they tell you it’s 60% of how much the card is worth but you are NOT promised 60% so expect to not get as much as you intended at this place. At first I loved coming here as they have a good selection of cards but as I started to come more often to trade and buy my experiences have become worse. Not sure if this is how Viral card games work but I am disappointed with...

Went there 01/28/2023 thinking I wanted Pokémon but seen so much I feel for ghost from the past second haunting and thankful I did I pulled a ghost rare on my first box red dragon archfiend so can’t cry even tho I was hoping for a dark magician girl or red eyes black dragon or blue eyes white dragon of some first generation stuff.

Also the owners and associates where very friendly and very polite to other guest at the time I was visiting was busy I was looking forgot my glasses they offer a nice pleasant shop for guest have some amazing finds I hope they get bigger in fridley someday wish them best of luck also their displays where nice and clean treated with care and everything was spectacular.

I would recommend anyone going I recommend my cousin already .

Emailed them and asked if they take Yu-Gi-Oh cards they said yes. Went all the way there and the guy was extremely rude, wouldn't even look at my cards. Trying to tell me there are too many reprints out there even though these were from my childhood. He said they were all bad quality even though he didn't even take one single card from its sleeve. Brought it to a different game shop down the road where they told me they were near mint condition and that they can't believe the person wouldn't even look at my cards. If you say you take Yu-Gi-Oh cards but you're not interested in even looking at them you should probably say you don't take Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Or at least tell your staff not to discriminate and actually look at the cards before turning people away. Won't go here ever again and I will tell others...
