The vibe of a fest is so good. Lot of stalls and food and activities for kids and free goodies. Fireworks was very beautiful. But space is very limited to see fireworks. Also so many trees are in a sight, which blocks part of view, if you're seeing this from distance.

The fireworks for July 4th is awesome. Good place to see them from Frisco street.

Went to this fest for the first time and it was OK. It was pretty crowded and the lines were super long for everything, especially the rides. I expected the attractions to be free but they weren’t, you had to buy tickets and use them for the rides. Lines for the ride were probably an hour long! Lots of food and treat options and they did not all have ridiculous lines. The fireworks didn’t start until about 10:20pm but it was pretty good. Parked at the discovery center and took the shuttle to the square but left before the fireworks started and watched it from the grassy area near the highway. Best parking spot/fireworks viewing area is off the road on the highway or around the...

Fireworks were ok, but the item we recall most and cannot get out of our mind is the cost of food!! Prices were not listed by vendor -- 2 regular corndogs, 2 regular lemonades, and one funnel cake was over $64!!!! We were so shocked and upset we didn't have the ability to refuse the food or to not pay.

This is far beyond State Fair pricing which is high, too, but not like this! Shame on Frisco for not knowing the price of food to be offered before allowing vendors to participate in the festival. We will NOT recommend this event in future and will be cautious attending other...

Plus - Good music Great atmosphere Lots of food and play option

Cons - Could take you 2-3 hours to come out of the place. Can be a nightmare. Have your gas tank filled. The fireworks is partly blocked by the national soccer museum and trees for people sitting in simpson plaza. Also, the place is too bright to appreciate the fireworks in the night backdrop.

If were little darker and the fireworks were shot a little higher, it would...
