I had to pay my nordstrom card and the lady behind the cash was very irritated. One of the items I bought was kids shoes, in that section they put a very misleading advertisement stating that its 25% off. I didn't notice that in tiny writing they wrote sandals only. Its unethical. Not something I would have expected from this store. The ads were all over the kids shoe shelves on ALL OF THE SHELVES. Most people only notice 25%. Not the tiny writing underneath it. And no, its not my fault. This is false advertisement. Then there was no employee to be found. Then the cash lady was in a rush I had to pay my bill and pay for two separate purchases. She was rude and just said..."yeah the item is not 25% and I really have to go so hurry up" Then I felt rushed. So I only bought one thing then left the store and the other items I wanted to purchase simply because I felt uncomfortable being spoken to so rudely for 2 simple transactions. That lady was probably in a rush to leave because her shift ended, which is my point: why is nordstrom over working their employees. A huge line and only 2 people working on cash? This is something I expect from dollar general, not NORDSTROM. I guess all Ceos care about is how heavy their pockets are A lot and I mean A LOT of items (overflow) and no employees in sight to be found for any questions. Felt like I'm shopping at Walmart except I don't spend 500$ at walmart for clothes, that's why I come to nordstrom.

Guys keep yourself away from this store. I'm going to opt for a better customer service and look for stores that value their customers and employees

I would have given it 0 star if I could for this particular store!! It is not because of the quality or price of the products that I have bought . It is only because of the racism I have endured by the loss prevention person not only once but three times!!! 😡😡😡 I have recently moved to this area and a little naive how folks around here could be a little racist ! The sad part is it is not even a white person who was following me…a big black guy you can see from a far !! I get that for him growing up here in the states not knowing where his ancestors came from and being discriminated everywhere he goes ,this doesn’t mean may be not much !! But for me coming from a country which never been colonized by whites and have its own culture and history and have brave ancestors who had defended our land and identity…it is a big deal!! I have been an amid shopper at Nordstrom rack since forever but I don’t think I will ever get my foot in that store ever again ! Just because I am a person of color doesn’t mean that I am there automatically to shoplift! I have worked in retails a while back and I know who flys under radar and shoplift while the loss prevention team focus on the only black person in the store. But I have never thought that would happen to me for real!! Funny thing is a didn’t even realize he could be following me until the third day since I was busy shopping for my kids ,myself and my so many relatives as I was going back home to visit!! Very quiet day here, for a Saturday afternoon. This store seems clean and very well stocked with inventory. It was very difficult to get assistance on the floor. The merchandise was mixed in with other brands and sizes, making it very difficult to be productive. The selection is most definitely premium brands, but much of it seemed damaged or heavily wrinkled. There was only one cashier, who was very nice. But, that does seem inadequate for such a large premium store on a Saturday afternoon. The line was only four to five deep, which should be fast. But, because of only one cashier, it was much longer than it needed to be. When it was my turn, a nice shirt did not have a size or price. The nice cashier was forced to leave her area to look for both. When she came back, I noticed a large rip on the back shoulder, so her nice gesture was for not. Then another shirt didn't have a price and she had to leave again, but this time many customers required her assistance on the floor. There was no other matching shirt on the fllor, probably because so many racks were mixed in to each other. This was just my experience today. Hopefully the pics added here show the full scope...
