We recently shopped at the William Sonoma store at Stonebriar mall in Frisco, Texas. We will never shop at this location again. Barbara, I think was her name, was so incredibly rude. She was not the one to originally help us but ended up checking us out. She had my husband walk around and enter in all of his shipping information and then proceeded to tell him he needed to check himself out. I told him no, that was her job. She didnât want to take my gift card that we had. She told me to scratch the back off if I wanted her to finish the transaction. She refused to answer my question about my key rewards. She finally, on my second transaction, told me that I did have a $30 reward because I was holding her up trying to figure it out myself. When we were done with the second transaction, I asked about the receipt and she very rudely replied âya, I already gave it to you. Remember when you folded it up and put it in your bag?!â I was not requesting that receipt, I was asking about the other transactions receipt. She said she had already put it in the bag and rolled her eyes. We picked up our bags and she didnât say thank you, have a nice day....nothing. I told her she was the rudest most unprofessional sales woman I have ever dealt with. She stared me down as we walked out and then threw her arms up at me as we left the store and continued to stare until we couldnât see her anymore. We shop at William Sonoma a lot but will probably start shopping at another retailer from now on because I have never been treated this badly in a...
Read moreWe went Christmas shopping today and stopped in to look for stocking stuffers. I have 5 kids, 3 grand kids and 3 bonus add ons. We had a stroller but to the best of my knowledge thatâs okay. Immediately on entering an employee came up to us and just stood and watched us and it was odd. She didnât say anything. She eventually left us as we proceeded further into the store. Then another employee came and stood by us. After awkward staring I asked âare we goodâ and she goes âyes you are okayâ. I looked at my husband and said âWe are out of here. I donât know if itâs the stroller or if we look like we are shoplifters but this is weird. We will go spend our money elsewhereâ. No response from the employee. Just a flat facial expression. If you donât want strollers put up a sign. The only two other things different about us is that Iâm a little bit of a punk rocky grandma person and my grandbaby is mixed race. If it was either of those things thatâs on you. Good luck selling in this economy with these kind of practices. I think I know why you might have missed earnings expectations and are down...
Read morevery bad customer service experience. I shop and love William Sonoma had purchased an electronic wine opener that did not work and because I purchased it at a different location in Dallas they did not want to help directed me to call the one 800 number me that after the 30 day purchase, there is no warranty and to deal with the manufacturer. However, the manufacturer is William Sonoma on this product, I called the store that I purchased it from on Preston and Park and they are exchanging it for me It was obvious that because a different store had helped with the transaction. They did not want to deal with it or have it on there returns. The purchase was made as a gift at the end of September and did not get opened until mid November. I do understand them having a 30 day return policy but not zero warranty on an electronic item at a store with such high-quality items.
I would definitely say that both representatives were quite rude and even if they werenât able to help, couldâve been a lot nicer about the situation and giving me...
