Bad experience today. Paid $105 for food. Our server, Jackie forgot to place our order so we saw about 25 entrees come out the kitchen for other tables. After waiting an excessive amount of time for two chicken meals, I asked Jackie if she forgot to put our order in since we had an appetizer, calamari. She denies it of course but our food hadn’t come for almost an hour. We finally get our food after 7-10 other tables ate their whole meal, had cheesecake, paid bill, and probably got all the way home before we got our food. Food finally comes and my wife’s chicken is undercooked for her honey chicken meal and my chicken is cold. At this point, I’m tired of expressing concerns to Jackie because she already seemed to be disingenuous initially. I ask her for the manager to express our concerns. Manager, white elder and tall gentlemen comes over very stoic and listens to my concerns and asks do we want him to have them remade. We agree. We wait another 20 mins or so and the food comes out perfect this time around. (Remember, Jackie said she didn’t forget to place them after the appetizer and claimed the fried chicken takes “longer” (an hour) over all the other 25 entrees the kitchen released in our abnormal wait time). We start eating the remake but are quite full at this point, so when manager came back to check on how the food is my wife asked him for to-go boxes so we could box up our own food which was majority of the remade entrees. Of course he never brings the to-go boxes and Jackie comes over insisting that he, the manager, told her to take our food to the back so that she can box it. We said that we wanted boxes so why are you insisting on taking our food to the back when we asked for boxes to be brought to us after already having many issues and delayed food arrival that you were dishonest about. Of course nothing was comped on our meals—absolutely no concession. They charged for everything—my lemonade, my wife’s peach Bellini, my Louisiana pasta, our calamari appetizer, and my wife’s honey chicken. Our goal wasn’t to get anything free, however, I was not irate and I’d expect a restaurant of this 'caliber’ to do something or comp something to appease the customer when they dropped the ball more than once. I had a piece of my wife’s chicken, it was legitimately chewy and somewhat raw in the center so I’m assuming Jackie had the kitchen rush the order when she forgot to put it in when we told her to , then lied about it and had to have the kitchen keep up with the time on the lie. Also, if a customer asks to box their own food and server to bring a box—then bring the box. Just maybe I don’t want a server touching all over my food and/or possibly doing something to it when we had issues with the service and food quality and had to bypass you for a manager. Jackie was also a server that we’ve had in the past and we’ve always treated her with respect and kindness—we’ve never been irate or over-demanding, but Cheesecake dropped the ball here and I believe the lack of effort to remedy the situation was because we are a younger black couple that they didn’t care to try to make things right for. Unfortunately, I still tipped $15 because I’m a nice guy. Last time we were there—about a week and 1/2 ago, I believe I tipped Jackie $20 or more. It’s a sad day if this what you get for spending your hard earned money, over $100 on two separate occasions for cold and undone meals and bad service. Even our request for a to-go box brought to us wasn’t respected by Jackie nor her elder white male manager(unfortunately I didn’t get his name because he didn’t introduce himself when...
Read moreFood: This was my very first time at a Cheesecake factory. Went for my 19th birthday. My food could've been wayy better. I got the Chicken littles with a side of fries, the chicken littles didn't taste good. They kind of tasted like that really weird sweet breading, and the chicken had no flavor, they were a little bigger than my thumb. My mom, dad, and I got our food before my little brother. So we all shared with him while waiting. Then finished the food while waiting. My brother got the chicken alfredo dish with a side of fries. He makes it so much better at home. The fries were okay but when we got them they had "combined" mine and my brothers fries without telling us when giving us the plate. (I thought it was only 1 serving because of how small of a proportion it looked.) Then the waiter told us about 5 minutes later that they were combined. I thought that $12 for that amount of fries was ridiculous.
The manager of the store or owner was sincerely sorry. She compensated us by giving my brother's meal for free and even allowed him to get anything more he wanted on the house so he chose another side of fries. (I didn't say anything at the restaurant about how I didn't like the food or proportions. I was kind of thinking "they are being this nice about it, I should be grateful"). Then said that I could have a cheesecake slice on the house because it's my birthday. I thought that was pretty cool. We then decided to order some Cheesecake (I've heard stories growing up that they have amazing cheesecake and huge sizes). I went with the cinnabon cheesecake, my brother went with the same, my mom and dad shared a carrot cake (mom thought it was a cheesecake carrot cake that my sister told her about when she went there). The cinnabon cheesecake was really good in flavor and tasted identical to cinnabon. But wayyyy too sweet. (You don't need to put that much sugar for your product to be good. You don't even need that sugar to be honest). The carrot cake was good. The sizes were actually really small. I thought $11 a slice was a joke for the amount I got. (I could go-to Aldi's and buy two of those cheesecake sampler pies and stack them on top of each other for $20. I could and do make my own cheesecake with better and healthier ingredients). My slice was free so I was grateful for it and grateful for my brothers free meal. I told my parents my thoughts in the place when it was happening. They agreed with me but I think they were thinking similar thoughts or didn't want to cause issues or something.
Service: Overall friendly and nice service. (Im sure if I had said what I disliked about the food that I would've gotten compensated for it. But that's was my choice so I'm not going to hold that against them. Im just sharing my experience I had here.)
Environment: A little too dark can barley read the menu without taking my flashlight out. The lighting is nice just need to be a bit brighter.
Note- I can really only remember bits and pieces of the fun I had there or the good tasting food. I remember more of the negative stuff and how the experience kind of left a off feeling about the place. The food is definitely not worth coming back here though for me.

Read moreMy family came here for my brother's birthday this past Friday and we had made a reservation earlier that day. When we came to the counter in the front of the restaurant, we told the host, who was a young white girl with glasses, that we have a reservation and asked if our table is ready but she told us that we will get a text when it is ready. We had also requested a booth and asked to make sure we were getting a booth but she turned away and ignored us which was very odd. It was as if she did not want to speak to us. We were not greeted with a smile and did not feel welcomed but the host was very friendly and cordial with the people who were behind us, who were also white girls, which didn't make sense because she instantly switched up.
The food we ordered tasted really good and our waitress was very nice as well. The dish my father and I ordered, however, had rice that was clearly uncooked but our waitress was nice enough to bring us a new batch of rice once we informed her about it.
At the very end my brother had ordered a cheesecake for his birthday and the rest of my family later decided to do a cheesecake for to-go as well, so my mother and I went to the cheesecake counter to place an order while seeing the options they have. We told the cashier, who was a young black woman, we would like to do a to-go order and she asked in a rude way "Did you guys not have a table?" I said yes we did and she was being skeptical about us and not letting us order at the counter and she said you need to order with your waiter and I listened to her and went back to the table we dined at but the bill had already been made so I went to back to the cheesecake counter and said the waitress has already made the bill and we just want to take one home. She started showing a lot of attitude and was making weird facial expressions as well as talking to us in a degrading tone which made our experience really bad as we were leaving. She told us that next time you need to order through your waiter because it accounts for the tip percentage and I said we were not aware of that and thought we could come up here to order since they were closing in 10 minutes. The cashier girl could have talked to us in a much more respectable way and made us feel comfortable instead of making everything into a big deal. Really bad customer service at the beginning and end unfortunately. We have been coming to Cheesecake Factory for many years but this time we did not have such a...
