At first the atmosphere in there was good with no problem at all. The lady at the bar was polite and made great drinks. Me and my boyfriend had never went to a place like this before but wanted to try something new so as we went to go play darts we set our drinks down on the shuffleboard table not knowing it wasn’t a regular table for drinks. We both had assume it was a regular table. And after a second of putting them down the old man with glasses wearing an “ivy hat” Came up to us asking what was wrong with us if we thought it looked like a table in the rudest manner. If he would’ve came to us with a polite tone, the experience would’ve definitely have been different. I agree it’s our fault. We put drinks on the Shuffleboard table, but there is definitely a time and place when you speak to PAYING costumers, He even came back around and started telling my boyfriend how to play darts with a sarcastic attitude and we were just there to vibe, We planned on even buying more drinks, but after that altercation, we finished our drinks and left. That man was nothing but rude to us and needs to learn how to talk to paying adult customers and definitely should not be talking to anybody in that way....

I can understand when people have regulars that come in. We walk in and the bartender had told our friends that came in first she would be right with them so one of them walks away from the bar to look around since we had never been there... her husband orders her a drink and the bartender has a fit that she walked away.. she was afraid that she was being tested for underage drinking. Once she saw the ID she was fine.... tried to show her mine and she didn't even want to see it!! We got drinks and started playing pool and around 45 min my friend put his chapstick in his mouth while he was shooting then put some on then put it back in his pocket. The bartender power walks over to us and "SIR.. SIR!! YOU CAN NOT VAPE IN HERE!!" All of us were like what is she talking about. After this he went to sit in the car until we were done. I'm a local and would have loved to come back and play. Since we were treated the way we were over things that were not even true there is no way I want to come back or bring anyone there ever again. We felt that we were treated different because we were not "locals or regulars". *Management if you would like details...

Immediately I was impressed by the welcoming and clean environment! I don’t get out much because of a busy schedule, and I will definitely be adding this place to the top of my list to come back to! The bartender, Damian, welcomed us in like we were old friends. There was a short line when we got there, and the wait was enjoyable. Damian was engaged, personable and honestly pretty funny and I don’t think he was even trying to be. We left and on our way out we had to stop and express how much we liked the quality of pool tables, the clean smell and environment and that it was a place with a relaxed environment. I was born, raised, graduated high school/college and also started my family here in Jacksonville- and this is a small family owned business that’s been here for 34 years and I had zero clue. Shop local!! This family has poured everything into their family business, and it absolutely shows....
