   Read moreDonât waste your time or money with Rooms to Go. I was coming home from work, just 20 minutes away, and they called saying they were outside. I asked them to waitâthey left anyway. No second chance, no follow-up, just a card on my door.
Youâre not even dealing with Rooms to Go directly. Itâs a third-party delivery service, and you canât talk to the driver. Youâre stuck calling around, talking to different people who all say something different. Itâs a mess.
I wasnât trying to be a problem or give anybody a hard timeâI just wanted clear communication and a little understanding. But nobody wanted to help. They kept dodging me and making it harder than it needed to be.
You canât choose your delivery time, you canât pick it up yourself, and you have to sign for itâwhich is damn near impossible if you live alone and work. No flexibility. No real help.
Logan, the sales rep, ignored my texts. The supervisor saw me in person and walked off. And they still wonât cancel my order or refund me.
Bottom lineâRooms to Go doesnât care once theyâve got your money. Shop somewhere else.
Update: The day after I requested to cancel my order, I got a call from the store. The delivery manager, Paul, personally offered to come out and set up my bed himself. He stayed in touch with me through texts and phone calls, keeping me updated and reassuring me that he would deliver it himself. I admire that he showed up on his day off to make things right. Five stars for Paulâshout out to him for doing what others wouldnât.
But Iâm not going to sugarcoat itâwhat I went through leading up to that was frustrating. Iâm not over-exaggerating. Every time I called for helpâwhether it was customer support or the location where I made the purchaseânobody seemed to really have answers, and worse, nobody seemed to care. I was asking for basic clarity, and all I kept getting was, âIâm sorry youâre going through this,â but no real solution. Thatâs what led me to try to cancel in the first place.
Paul did his part and went above and beyond. I respect that. But as a company, Rooms To Go still needs to fix the way they handle customer service and communication. Customers shouldnât have to go through all this just to get their furniture delivered.

   Read moreUPDATE 1/12/24 Not only did Justin give excellent customer service, but what we purchased went on sale a few days after our purchase. Justin made sure we got credit for the sale price and the difference was placed back on our credit card. Way to go, Justin!
Also, as a sidenote, when I came back into the store and I asked one of his coworkers that I was looking for Justin, âthe party boy,â his coworker said⌠Justin doesnât drink. Just to clarify what I meant by âparty boyâ wasâŚ, he really enjoyed his family at the holidays so much that he lost his voice. Drinking was NEVER in my thought process. I certainly donât want to give Justin a reputation that he hasnât earned. đĽ´

ORIGINAL POST: We visited Rooms to Go after going to three other furniture stores. We met JUSTIN MARTIN and he showed us around with no pressure whatsoever. (SO REFRESHING) He let us lounge on the couches and we tested them out longer than most people would do. We tested every button, bell and whistle it had to offer. Justin said it was nice to see people actually testing out the furniture as if it was in their living room. We went back to a couple the other furniture stores to double test the comfort levels from our top pics at the other stores and came back to Rooms to Go and specifically asked for Justin. He was busy with another customer, but we wanted to wait on him for our purchase. This time we brought our blanket that we use at home to test to make sure it didnât slide off the leather couch.đĽ´đ¤Ł We made ourselves comfortable on the couch with our blanket while waiting for Justin and confirmed our decision was right. We nicknamed Justin, the party boy, since his voice was hoarse from the holidays with family. Such a great guy to do business with.
