Fruita Fall Festival — Local services in Fruita

I have been attending the Fruita fall festival for decades. I was very disappointed... the parade was so tacky in entries- nothing entertaining to look at just typical police cars -few older cars that were probably in the car show later -no clowns- pretty plain entries- very short parade -NO decorative floats - only positive ........abd very good where the marching school bands. Again another year with no entertainment for kids or youth no Carnival activities. The booths where minimal they used completely surround the circle park inside and out and down both sides of the Main Street. Use to be crowded lots and lots of people this year minimal people- I would say we were lucky to see a quarter or less in regular attendance during the peak time of the parade and after the parade of people compared to the Past. The minimal selection of food booths we're outrageously expensive very disappointing -the beer was also outrageously expensive for a plastic cup really? Definitely not like it use to be we use to spend days and evenings of enjoyment - people watching was even fun....now that wasn't even an option due to huge lack...

Just didn't care for it,last few years just been getting away from the small town festival that grew up here with..nothing for the kids to really do..food that can't afford..church not able to set up their booth after 57 yrs ...just disappointed and I'm not the only one who...

I absolutely love fall fest!!! It used to be a lot better but it wasnt geared to bicyclers. The locals where catered to instead. Everyone moves here because they love the small town atmosphere. Well it wont be that qay when your children are grown if you dont stop...
