RIVERAS FRESH TACOS — Restaurant in Fullerton

It was my first time here and I got two of their fish tacos for under $5.00. It was served with a fresh warm tortilla and chunks of grilled White fish. They had their own sauce that came with their fish tacos. I would describe it as like a Sriracha mayo or something like that. It was served with fresh cilantro and fresh diced onions along with freshly sliced beets, pickled carrots, and a jalapeño pepper. I have to say this grilled fish taco was absolutely amazing! Oh, and when I ask about hot sauce, the nice gentleman who worked at the cashier suggested this spicy oily sauce and let me tell you, it was pretty spicy. They make your tacos fresh to order. It’s a must try small boutique taco joint in the middle of a Fullerton neighborhood.

The service here was excellent, they were so kind and welcoming. They seem like very happy employees which is great because When food is served by grumpy and rude workers, the food somehow just doesn’t taste that great, right? Lol

It was a clean taco shop and they all wore masks and practiced social distancing guidelines. The parking lot was small but sufficient. Anyhow, thanks for the tasty fish tacos and a great First time experience.

Since the first day they opened up I liked this place. Their choices of protein ( beef, chicken, fish, pork, etc,etc) are done right and taste good. For example : The Asada is actually good quality meat , not like other places that use cheaper cuts of meat. They have a daily special from Mon- fri. Place is small, I would not really plan on eating there, you can... but there is really only room for 2 small tables, this place is worth the take out. You can't beat having taco tuesday and wednesday! I love their chipotle sauce, they only add that to certain dishes, but if you ask they will give you some on the side, and ofcourse the have at least 5 different sauces. I have not tried their whole menu, but what I have tried is always good. Try the huaraches, or the Asada torta with avocado. And you can't go wrong with tacos or a burrito. This is quite a hidden spot in Fullerton for solid tacos. It’s a definitely a value for taco Tuesday as they still sell it for $1.75 cents per tacos and they may give you a 7% discount if paying it with cash. So yeah, it’s probably one of the few places left around the area where you do save while still enjoying some tacos every Tuesday. There’s the more popular and a bit bigger de anda across but they don’t have taco Tuesday, also a bit pricier as well.
