Harris Teeter Pharmacy — Local services in Fuquay-Varina

My husband and I have always had great experiences at Harris Teeter pharmacies (Brogden Rd, Holly Springs)… but ever since we moved to Fuquay about three years ago, the pharmacy here has consistently screwed up filling important medications. They are constantly “understaffed,” the automated line screws up texts all the time, and my final straw was just the other night. I went to urgent care late and was done about 7:15PM diagnosed with a sinus infection, of which I was in an extreme amount of pain. I usually go to Fuquay Pharmacy because of how many times this HT Pharmacy has proven to be incompetent, but since they were closed, my antibiotics were called into the HT pharmacy. The drive-through was closed, which is fine. However, at 7:15 at night, there were still three or 4 customers waiting in line and I had to wait in line 15 minutes in throbbing pain only to hear that my medication will not be ready until another HALF HOUR because they were “understaffed.” They close at 8:00 PM, so that meant that my prescription would’ve been ready right as they close and they couldn’t even guarantee that. So I was given the choice to wait in throbbing pain for the next 30 minutes or come back tomorrow, which I was told my prescription would be made a priority. I was told my prescription will be ready early the next morning. When I came back the next morning around 9:36AM, I was told they were still working on it and that it wouldn’t be ready until after 1 o’clock. Let me remind you that I am still in throbbing pain and needed the antibiotic in order to help, and there were plenty of people there at 9:36 AM to fill my prescription. Amazing customer service, fast, polite, they don’t judge you based on your medication. I used to go to Walmart then Ken left and it became the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to overnight. I had an issue with every prescription every time I tried to fill it. Not here! They know exactly what they’re doing and just do their jobs to the best of their ability. It’s the best pharmacy I’ve ever been to hands down and I’ve been to quite a few. I’ll never switch again! Everyone in there is just so polite and will do anything to get you your medication....

This is the greatest pharmacy I've ever used. The staff are fantastic. Their customer service is wonderful. I am always treated really well. They were so kind and helpful when we brought in a parent with dementia for an annual flu shot.

It is easy to refill my prescriptions through their online portal, but they also answer their phones if we need information or help. They text when someone is ready for pick up, and have a drive thru window if we don't want to go inside. We get fuel points too, which saved us $1 a...
