Rokland — Local services in Gainesville

I bought a 10dbi antenna from this distributor about 6 weeks ago and initially the antenna worked fine. It stopped working suddenly 4 days ago. There was no significant event that occurred(wind storm ect) so i assumed it might be the cable. After testing for shorts I eliminated the cables as the issue, took the antenna down and tested it for continuity and low and behold with multiple cables attached it showed a short circuit. This was mounted with a very secure mounting bracket and because of its thin linear design it sees very little movement from wind. With the little movement it does incur from winds it should not fail in a few weeks of use. This is indicative of a faulty build and or poor quality control from the manufacturer. I have emailed Rokland notifying them of this faulty antenna but they have not responded in 3 days. If this is a mistake and they'd be willing to offer a remedy, my opinion would be different. At this point I feel like I'm getting ripped off here for an 80+ dollar...

They have turned into my go to store for ordering hard to find LoRaWan components. I had an issue with shipping on an order and Rokland made it right no fuss what so ever. Ordered a flat cable, LMR400 cable and 8dbi antenna. Later that day I realized I ordered the wrong length cable and emailed support. John changed the order and invoiced me the difference, seamlessly. Later on he called me to ask me about my purchase and let me know that the pieces I bought weren't compatible and explained why. He then changed it to compatible parts. Super customer service!...
