This is a trendy and stylish hotel with plenty of Instagrammable seating areas in the lobby, and comfortable guest rooms/bathrooms as well. I had an errand to run one morning and when I returned their restaurant had just closed. (11am, I believe.) They don't have complimentary breakfast but all I really wanted was a coffee and that wasn't available either. When one of the restaurant staff saw my disappointment at missing a hot coffee, she went back and brewed a pot just for me, at no charge. I was so appreciative of her going above and beyond! I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Gainesville over the years since our daughter is there, and I do feel that many similar hotels have free coffee available in the lobby. I think that a good cup of brewed coffee would be a great addition to the overall experience...Just my opinion. Otherwise, we loved the hotel!

Our room was very nice. Clean, spacious and had everything we needed including a frig and coffee maker. The beds were really comfortable. I am not a fan of the bathroom barn style door as they don't give privacy and don't close completely. The pool was nice and I enjoyed the cabana "beds" they had near the pool. It was really relaxing to hang out there. The location was great and we parked in the garage across from the hotel which had security. There was not complimentary breakfast for AAA Discount Members...so be aware of that if you book with a discount. The room was very pricey also, but I enjoyed my stay so I think it was worth it. Lastly, I would like to mention all of the staff that I came in contact with were very courteous. There were snacks available in the lobby as well as a restaurant and bar.

Disgusting hotel, very dirty. See pictures. Dead bugs in the bed, a dried up bodily fluid on the nightstand, bad AC and mold smell. I arrived late on a business trip and upon checking in asked to switch rooms and was denied. There was no housekeeping on call so the desk attendant gave me sheets to change myself. I asked for a refund and after multiple emails and phone calls the hotel begrudgingly gave me the equivalent of $50 in IHG points because I booked thru Priceline, which to me seems very classist. As someone who travels 100+ days a year, I have never written a poor review for any of my sub-par stays. This hotel is disgusting and horribly managed, and to think it’s an INDIGO is…wild. Don’t support them. Stay elsewhere.

Let's start off with the room design; Has a barn style bathroom door which has no privacy! While standing in the shower you can look in the mirror and see the bedroom area. As there was an inch and a 1/2 to 2" gap on each side of the door. So you can hear everything. However shower heads are great. We bring our own soaps etc. But this hotel doesn't supply the bigger bottles like some hotels do. You get a tiny maybe 1oz bottle. The bathroom door is main reason they got a 4/5 star rating. Just some things the world or other room guest don't need to know about. There is no microwave in the room which I use regularly when I stay in hotels. I'm not even sure if there's one in the lobby I did not see one but did not ask. The AC intake unit is maybe 3' From the head of the bed which it is loud when it comes on and makes it difficult to sleep at night for lite sleepers. The flooring near the window was installed improperly and I tripped, causing me to hurt the bottom of my foot. There is a small TV tray style table that is able to be moved around the room, I think it would be a great benefit to have that on wheels. To keep from dragging it across the floor and scratching the floors. The desk space is great size and layout. Comfy desk chair too. The Orange and blue chair could use a good a cleaning! Some questionable stains. Bed comfy and pillows. Shower had hand held and rain style shower heads with hot water. I always do but make sure you bring your own soaps shampoo etc as they only offer the tiny 1oz sample size. In room phone doesn't work Pool area; 1.They have lounge beds with green algae growing on the lower half Concrete around pool could use a good pressure washing, rust and dirt on it. Pool water good cool temp. Warm pool water isn't refreshing to me. Lay out is nice. Pool closes at 8 which is ridiculous to me. Can't have a nightly swim here I believe a covered outdoor area would be beneficial. If it rains all out door seating gets wet. Hotel over all; 1 Breakfast delicious No on site washer and dryer Staff friendly but it you have an issue they don't seem to care. I reported the broken chair, no one asked which chair and chair still here a week later. Hotel smells and looked clean Lots of fancy looking decorative items and lights. LOTS of construction going on in the area. Woke up at 6-6:30 every morning with very loud banging outside. Possibly emptying trash or sump truck door slamming not sure . Would stay again just definitely ask for a room with a real bathroom door LOL Spoke with I believe is GM (taller thin black female) after an incident that happened while writing this review. I believe she will definitely handle that issue or any issues a guest has. She is definitely in management for a reason and she is excellent at her job, personable, caring, concerned, &...

This review is my last resort, I tried to get these issues resolved both on site and by multiple phone calls prior to this review. This hotel has major issues. Checked in, had to move rooms immediately due to bathroom door being off hinge ( a huge heavy barn style door on top rollers) No big deal

There were five of us that had dinner at the on site restaurant. 5 meals plus two appetizers. One meal came and one appetizer. 15 mins later one more meal. After 15 more minutes one more meal and one more appetizer. Appetizer was cold. ( supposed to be hot) 10 minutes later last two meals came out. One was cold. We asked to have the cold meal heated up, we were told that they couldn’t heat it up do to the fact that my daughter had taken a bite. Each meal was $23.00 dollars, total bill was almost $200.00 with tip. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Early next morning we tried to take showers, and the water temp wouldn’t adjust to anything less than scalding. We couldn’t use the shower, we were there after a day of sports camp, we needed showers. We had to ask to use someone else’s shower from our sports camp, which they graciously agreed to. The hand soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the hostess immediately, we asked for a partial refund for the room. Not for dinner, just the room. We were told that they didn’t have the authority to do that. They admitted and apologized for the problems and sympathized, and instead offered for me to become a member of IHG Hotel club and give me some points. We said since they couldn’t comp the room, would they be willing to comp a portion of the dinner, instead equal the room refund. Again we were told no. I asked to speak to the manager and was informed that the manager on site was doing something else and was too busy to speak with me, but I could call back later that day to talk to a different manager. We left the site, and called back, but apparently the manager wasn’t coming in today after all. I have never left a bad review before for anything, but the minimum standard here wasn’t met, and this particular site was not willing to take responsibility for not supplying the basic needs of a regular hotel stay. (It was not a cheap stay) The staff was pleasant, but I feel management put their employee at the front desk in a very awkward position by not being available to speak to a dissatisfied customer with valid complaints. Hotel Indigo is a no-go, at least at...

I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel. Location is great! Called Wednesday prior to my Friday stay to try to coordinate a room I booked on points for Thursday with a stay booked through a housing authority for Friday and Saturday..Spoke to Sara. She couldn't find my stay. Called the housing authority, sat on hold while they called the hotel to find my stay. The hotel input my name incorrectly when info was sent from housing agent and added by hotel staff. She said she would correct spelling and add my rewards number to the reservation as I could not see or track reservation on my profile. Checked in Thursday everything was fine. I had no issues with the room I booked myself. Friday morning had to check in again for Friday stay. Front desk Sara assured me my IHG number was attached to my stay. Friday night went to front desk- spoke to Payton as I couldn't login to wifi. Guess what? Name still misspelled so that was the glitch. And still not on my profile. She assured me she would correct and add my IHG number to my profile. Saturday.... Went back to front desk. Was told this time by Sara that it was a glitch with IHG and that is why I can't see my stay on my profile. Keep in mind that since no one has my profile attached and can't see my Platinum status that I am offered nothing that I could receive with that status. No one can see I want a lower floor and near elevator. I am put on 6th floor at the end of the hall. Room 623. I did not get amenity points for my check in on Friday, oh wait, I didn't get ANY of my points because when I checked out and asked for a receipt, guess what, my IHG account is STILL not attached to the reservation. I heard another person checking in and was offered free breakfast for their platinum status. Guess what? Not for me. So now I will file through IHG to get my missing points. Really aggravated by the stay, the multiple interactions with repeatedly asking and getting no results....
