Mostly, I go to Ross's for household items. Purchased a beautiful, big Carpet for my Livingroom, because I couldn't find one in white and seafoam anywhere. The price was to good to be true and now 4 years later, it still looks brand new. Their selections on Carpets,Throwrugs,Bedspreads, Lamps Paintings, Vases, Candle holders e.t.c.are wonderfully unique and much less expensive than anywhere in our Area. Also, they last, which to often isn't the case for less costly items. Saw a Painting in shades of aqua and soft orange...perfect for my dining-room in another store for $ 250.,which I loved but found to costly. Sure enough, I found one in this rare color combination at Ross's, even prettier for $45. Dollars. Just examples to share the advantages of this Store. Never bought clothes there, because at first impression, the Interior reminds me of super cheap Outlet stores, but was so impressed last summer by the selection and especially the fact, that their dresses actually come in sizes, which are hard to find. Xtra small for instances. Would advise to check the sewing inside out and try them on since their sizes vary, but came home with 5 summer dresses perfect fit and up to date. Do try Ross's, even if you're as hesitant as I was for quite some time, it is definately worth your time. Who doesn't wish to SAVE money, without it being obvious,...
Read moreWent shopping at Ross today to pick up a few things I did not even need. When I walked toward the only cashier on duty, I noticed there was nobody in line except for a couple at the cashier checking out with a few children. So I stood behind them for a number of minutes while the cashier had a conversation with them. I turned around and noticed a line now forming behind me. It was now my turn. I went up to the cashier and she told me the manager said I had to go back to the end of the line. I was totally caught off guard and wondering why they would do this. The manager was standing in the distance, not helping the cashier and other people checking out and I asked her Why are you sending me back to the end of the line? She did not have an answer and just stared at me. Of course I put my items down with the cashier and told her you just lost a good customer. This just happened about an hour ago. I’m so glad we have reviews that we can vent on. I was humiliated and very upset when I left the store. I hope upper management finds out who this manager is and kindly encourages them to find another job elsewhere. She obviously has no situation awareness and was not aware that when I got behind the customers at the cash register there was nobody in line. I love shopping at Ross and TJ Maxx, but I will never return...
Read moreUpon arrival you can see the mess. This os not a regular retail mess, this is like Black Friday kind of mess. My visit was 6/24/2018 around 8:30pm. Only one cashier and the lady back in the fitting room, manager was MIA, racks of clothing still on the back waiting for someone to put them on there place they belong. Cosmetics on the floor, and all over the place. I dont know why they dont use the wall of the scarfs to put the makeup and pit the scarfs where the makeup is right now. Very unorganized, prices missing, open packaging everywhere. Trash in some random places, plus the shoe racks they came off the hock of the shelves you know shoes are everywhere or in the size they dont belong. Check out was a nightmare waiting with only one Wonder woman, pregnant female, one against many, thats not fare, she call manager he or she didn't came to her rescue, the official on the door os worthless, can do nothing, thats just a waste of money in a employee that can do many other things. If we are to compare this Ross location with others around even with the Mall of Georgia, this one is the baddest of all of them. I don't know what management in there does, but she or he needs more training and resources, like MORE EMPLOYEES. Please get it together this...
