RUE + ROE — Local services in Gaithersburg

This is the best children’s boutique I’ve been to in the DMV! I’ve been driving here from DC to shop since my first was only months old. Every single thing I’ve purchased from Rue + Roe has been of great quality, holding up after tons of washes which I cannot say of other kid’s stores and brands. Now that I’m about to have another baby, I am excited that the clothes I bought from Rue + Roe held up for us to use again.

It is clear the owners put a lot of thought and care into what they sell. They are knowledgeable and never pushy. It seems they opened this store to provide not only a needed high quality children’s boutique at reasonable prices, but also create community around their store. They throw events like magic shows, yoga classes, and meeting Santa all the time (get in their email list to be the first to know).

I love that there is a play area for kids in the store so kids can have fun while caregivers shop. The really have thought of it all! I am also amazed by their boys clothes section… it’s easily the most fun and cute boy clothing I’ve ever seen. A lot of boutiques in the area sell tons of neutrals and clothes that make kids look like little grown ups. Rue + Roe has those types of clothes too, but they also have super fun and outgoing kids clothes that let kids feel like kids (think tshirts with sequin rocket ships on them, rainbow colored dresses, bright and colorful headbands and purses).

If you like dressing your kids in high quality clothes that look great and will last, this is for sure your store! I’d also say if you’re looking for a kids jacket, come here first. My daughter’s statement purple sequin rain coat is her favorite...

I recently went to Rue + Roe to buy a baby gift for my friend. I was so impressed with the wide selection of clothes, accessories, and other items for babies and toddlers. Briana was so friendly and helpful, and she went above and beyond to help me find the perfect gift for my friend's new baby!

I ended up buying a set of adorable knotted gown and a fuzzy hat. The material was soft and comfortable! Briana was able to wrap everything up so beautifully. I know my friend and her baby will love these gifts.

Rue + Roe is the absolute best place to get something special for your kiddos! From feather trimmed pajamas to crystal studded jackets, this shop has the most unique, quality, fashionable kids clothes. We have picked up a much cherished Lola and the Boys denim jacket, a special party dress and the most cozy, fuzzy unicorn pajamas. Not to mention their super comfortable, everyday wear line Bamboo. Service is great and the girls are super helpful if you need help figuring out and outfit or selecting a special piece. I cannot recommend this shop enough, truly a fun shopping...
