Five Below — Local services in Galesburg

A lot of fun stuff in here but the prices, for the most part, are not at all inexpensive. Some items are of a good quality, toys, snacks, candy, craft items, etc. Other items are not well made, clothes, cosmetics, electronics, etc. I bought three packs of tactile stickers for five dollars each. There was supposed to be six stickers in each packet. There were three in one packet and four each in the other two. At five dollars for six stickers, it wasn't an especially good price; when there were far fewer stickers, it was a scam. The packages can be opened and the other stickers were likely taken, but this is frustrating and I feel like I was cheated. Employees greetee every other customer that walked in except me and one other person.

I used to like bringing my daughter here but after the weird behavior of staff I would no longer give them my business. Why would you blatantly take a photo of my man right before we walk up and then hand the phone to your superior(?), and then proceed to walk by the doors and stare at us in the car before the manager is out? You're weird. And to lie about it. I'm an adult so I'm not one for pettiness but don't make people uncomfortable because you're being weird for whatever reason you had to lie...

Not at all the same experience as my pre-pandemic experience. Empty shelves and pegs. Palleted/unpacked products every where. Waited an extended amount of time at the check out, while 2 employees worked on 1 register and the other 2 stocked shelves. I've always been able to leave this store with excited children holding a new surprise that we found at your store. Today we left with disappointment, dissatisfaction, and wondering if we'll ever...
