World Buffet — Restaurant in Galesburg

My family went here tonight. We walked in for dinner at 7:50pm. It says it is open until 9:30 on Saturday nights. They said yes 9:30pm is how late they stayed open. So we get seated and get our food and I ask if they are bringing more food out about 8:15. And that is after I asked the food person about food at 8:00pm. They proceed to say no they aren't and they close at 9pm. They offered a 20% discount for each of us getting a half a plate of dried food. They didn't even really try to work with me. I'd would give them negative stars if I could. I couldn't talk to a manager. They couldnot help me with anything. They should have comped my meals and let me pay for the drink I got(which was the only thing...

Went to world buffet last nite, for a special trip with our granddaughter. Got there about 7pm, not many guests at the time. We were greeted and seated by a nice gentleman who took our drink order. We went to the buffet tables and chose our food, sat back down with drinks waiting at our table. First I noticed most of my food choices were cold and or under cooked. I was told by my partner hers was cold as well. Went up for a second serving and also noticed some food had been out for quite a while. The Mac and cheese had turned very dark and dry. The quality was not what we expected from our past visits. $45.95 plus tip was a lot of money for cold under...

So the food was fresh and hot, really good actually. I gave the atmosphere a 2 star because when we went it was not busy but steady, but there was a guy who is the hostess/cashier that was weird and kept walking by our table more than 20 times in the 45 mins we were there, or he would stand right behind me (we were in the end booth) and just stand there. He was pleasant just creepy. It wasn't as if he was looking at tables to see if someone was ready to leave so he could seat the next set of customers, it wasn't that busy at all like maybe 5 sets of customers.
