For one, the name of this place should not have anything to do with the word "World". Some of the worst selections I've ever seen. I come in to buy some wine. I have been a bartender for 9 years and I know that an ID is a must so I put it on the counter immediately before even being asked for it. I'm from out of town and staying close for work. The clerk (who looked at least 5 years younger than me) didn't even pick up my ID just automatically told me it was fake and he refused to sell to me. I'm 28 and my ID was very much real and within the expiration date. I stated that it isn't a fake at all it's just from a different state. He tells me if I don't leave that he would call the cops so I kindly asked him to please call them to get this situation rectified. Once I said that I was okay with police being called he switched gears. Picked up my ID asking all of my information from it which I gave him. He then told me he has a whole bag of fakes that have been used so he knows what they look like. I politely ask him if he has any from Oklahoma and he told me he had never even seen an Oklahoma ID so I then ask him how he would know it's fake if he hasn't seen one from my state before. He told me he'd sell it but to never come back especially with his boss there. Read moreThis past Sunday I was running late and attempted to call the store to request they not leave early being that on more than three occasions, I've found the store closed early. Apparently, they have no phone. HOWEVER, on said evening, I was on the turn in at the bank and a white BMW abruptly cut me off. He then sped through the lot, screeched to the front of the store, entered briefly and was locking the door PRIOR to 6:00 pm. I asked for service and the only comment was.. "We've been closed for a while". I attempted further comments but he jumped in the car and left. I'll GLADLY pay coins more at Red Carpet knowing that their establishment doesn't treat their customers in this matter, hires skilled professionals rather than punk kids that can't maintain regular...
Read morePurchased a bottle of liquor on Saturday, liquor had huge white lumps. Returned to the store on Saturday and was advised by young gentleman that Manager would not be in until Monday and that I would have to bring it back then for a refund. Came in on Monday, same young guy called Manager and told him I was there, spoke with the guy on the phone and he says that he leaves at 12pm and that in orders for me to get a refund I'll have to come back before noon on Tuesday. Horrible customer service-how can you sell something that is spoiled but only one person able to give a refund????...
