ALDI — Local services in Gallatin

Clean store. Smaller (may be the way Aldi's are, I don't know). Good prices. Was my first time to Aldi so wasn't sure how it worked. You have to bag your own groceries after checkout and they provide a nice long counter space for customers. Checkout guy was very nice and quick. A couple of areas for improvement. First a lady was stocking shelves with a large cart and she had blocked enough of the aisle that no carts could get thru. When someone tried to squeeze thru she just looked at them like they had a problem, even though if she would have moved over 3 inches, carts could get thru. Possibly a training issue, for employees to know to stay to the side. Second, there were only 2 checkout lines open and a mostly full parking lot so long lines, no self checkout. Probably will come again to see if problems still occur, but overall a nice grocery when I need...

This was my first time shopping at the Gallatin Aldi store. The parking lot and exterior of the store were clean. As I was getting out of my car I noticed an employee loading a vehicle in the pick up zone. I was not aware that Aldi offered that service. It was a smooth operation from my vantage point. Once inside a moderate amount of people were shopping. All of the isles were stocked well. Prices if course we're excellent. Aldi store brand merchandise is usually top notch in the taste department. Once in line to check out, people were lined up into the isle way. The cashier called for assistance and the line disappeared. They handled the line of customers very efficiently. Love Aldi! This location can get a bit crowded at times. We really like their brand of cheezits, their veggies are usually pretty good, and you typically can't beat their fresh chicken breast prices. I actually prefer the whole "bag your own" groceries process. We use the Aldi bags when we go to other stores, and I have a certain way I like stuff bagged.

Their bacon, eggs, milk, sausage, and other dairy are excellent. We particularly like their Irish butter brand.

They also have a good selection of frozen foods, beer, wine, and cold cuts/cheese.

The fruit isn't always great nor is the cereal selection.

The people that work here are super nice, and I get in/out a lot quicker...
