I visited the ChickFilA location in Gallatin, TN (Store #01589) at 6:52pm, and went into the drive-thru line. The line was long and wrapped around the building; there were cars partially obscuring the drive thru exit already when I pulled up. I stopped at the caution barrel (placed right before the drive-thru exit), and waited for the line ahead to go through. I yielded to 3 vehicles that exited the drive-thru while I was stopped at the caution barrel. There was a small pause between the 3rd and 4th vehicle that exited the drive thru. I didnāt initially see the 4th car exiting the drive thru, because of the pause between the 3 others that exited before it. I thought that there were no other vehicles exiting the drive-thru at the current moment, and felt it was safe to pull ahead.
As I start to pull forward Mary yells at me to āSTOP.ā She then says, āDo you not see the yield sign?ā in a very condescending, and patronizing tone. I said, āI apologize, I thought there wasnāt anyone else coming (after I yielded to the other 3 vehicles that exited).ā She then says, āwell, go on then.ā and gestures me to pull forward.
I was looked at, and spoken to, like an idiot that canāt read a sign. Though I yielded to 3 other cars, so I clearly saw the sign (judging by the length of time I sat in place). Iām shocked and appalled because her attitude and the way she approached the situation is the exact opposite of what I feel ChickFilA has always been about. My 4 year old who was riding with me in the back seat was distressed and confused because he heard someone outside loudly yelling to stop. I was waiting at the yield sign for quite some time, and allowed several cars to leave. The notion that I canāt read a street sign is insulting at best, and infuriating at worst. Thatās absolutely no way to speak to someone, and there should be a higher level of expectation to the courtesy you provide for your guests.
Iāve been coming to this location for 8-9 years now. I work down the road, so I visit probably 4-5 times a week for lunch. Iāve seen Mary there frequently enough to assume sheās likely in a supervisory or managerial role. Mary should hold herself to a much a higher standard if she is a supervisor. It sets an ugly precedent for your store, your team, and your community if thatās how your management speaks to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review (scroll down for an earlier review if you're interested) covers the viral TikTok Chik-Fil-A Kale Crunch Salad + chicken hack . The hack is this: order a chicken sandwich minus the bread (I ordered the fried one, but the healthier option is the grilled chicken). Cut up the chicken, scatter the pieces onto the salad, remembering to add the almond crunch packet that comes with the salad), and then if desired drizzle with your favorite Chik Fil A sauce. This was a delicious meal that I highly recommend. It's filling, protein-rich--and doesn't leave me feeling stuffed. Highly recommend. I'm going to try it again with different sauces. There are all kinds of ways to mix it up. Enjoy!
P.S. The frosted limeade at CFA was not good. I think it's trying to mimic the frosted lemonade at Sonic but the CFA version has an off taste, and it's actually a milkshake rather than a frosted limeade.
UPDATE: Chik-fil-A announced that this new sandwich will be available nationwide by June 10, 2024.
This is a highly specific review for those customers who are excited to try the new Maple Pepper Bacon Sandwich that Chick-fil-A announced on May 23, 2024 that it would be adding to the summertime menu. Well, as of Friday, May 24, this Gallatin location does not have this sandwich. So if you have your heart set on getting this Maple Bacon Sandwich, you might want to call first or whatever to make sure the Gallatin...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat people , but the order accuracy isnāt close to Glennbrookeās. Iāve had many instances of them forgetting something, Iāve called and they always agree to make it right on my next visit. My issue is with order accuracy they have when delivering the food in the drive through, not the employees taking the orders. Through many transactions I witness the young people delivering the food are always distracted in conversations about teenage stuff. I get it, I operate multiple restaurants and understand how this can be a challenge, but nearly every time Iām picking up food I have the same problems and observations. One example Is a young man was scared at the sight of a patrons dog and ran inside, only to return and grabbed our food and delivered it. Completely wrong order , but that is just one example. Another was a young lady was going into vivid detail about āgiving him his ring backā and they forgot my kids food. We spend more money here than I would like to admit, but itās gotten to the point where I feel like this review is reasonable and justified. Management needs to put a laser focus on order accuracy and attentiveness. I will give them another chance in a few months, until then, Iām going to brave the traffic and chaos that is Glennbrooke for...
