How did I not know about this amazing bakery? I attended a Friendsgiving where one of our friends brought the Parker Rolls and OMG I'm obsessed! The light buttery roll was amazing and I couldn't stop thinking about it! I waited for the Thanksgiving holiday to pass and went to the bakery today and I was so mesmerized by the selection of cookies, pastries, and rolls! It is such a cute venue and welcoming staff. Super friendly and nice! All the customers inside had to be regulars as they gave so many recommendations and everyone was stocking up for the holidays! Price is so reasonable and I can't wait to try all the cookies I purchased!

I just came down here with my kids, took 40 minutes to get here with the traffic on the freeway only to find out they are no longer selling the boxes of Christmas sugar cookies for the kiddos to decorate, now they are unpacking them and placing them in smaller containers .. oh but wait, they didn't put any containers together to sell, it's all in the back but the clerk can't leave her post to make them. I told her I would wait until she had time...15 minutes later she says they won't be able to make them because they don't have the containers to put them in!!!! So instead of just selling us a box they told us to come back Monday. Are you kidding me? This is my second time coming to Spaans Cookie. The first time, I enjoyed walking in the store and seeing all the goodies and knickknacks they had. They sell tubs of cookies that are delicious and affordable! I came back for a second time to try the pie! On my last visit, they had a large order of pies they were making and did not have any to buy, so I made sure to come back and try one. I chose a Blackberry pie, and it did not disappoint at all!! The filling tasted like my grandma's cobbler, and I have never found one like it until eating a one from here. It was delicious!! They have amazing asiago rolls, too.
