The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.

I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. I ordered the ribeye kabob plate and it came with an excellent salad, rice, pita bread with hummus and the most delicious butter garlicky sauce to dip your ribeye in... the meat and sauce just melts in your mouth. The owners have the most wonderful approach to their customers and since it was my first time visiting the area they gave me a few recommendations in what to order. Customer service is a 10/10.... I CANT WAIT to come back after our family trip to Reno....this time I'm coming back with the whole familia!! See...
Read moreMy husband and I had the most delicious lunch today at the Mix Up restaurant on C Street in Galt. Our first visit but definitely not our last. We tried the chicken wings (crispy and yummy), kaftka with beef and lamb kabobs (ribeye was cooked to medium well and was tender and well seasoned, lamb was so tasty) served with a garlicky butter dip) falafel was crispy flavorful. Our meals each came with mixed green salad (that had cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese and a raspberry vinaigrette) and a rice pilaf. Servings were generous and well worth the price of the entrees around $20-$22. We have already placed an order of a chicken dish that we will have for our dinner...
