Beach Central Park & Garage — Local services in Galveston

Bought parking through Groupon, scanned the QR code provided to get into the garage. Then when leaving it scanned with the error “there was a problem” and wouldn’t open the gate. Pressed the call button and the employee claimed they weren’t accepting reservations on any websites— so why did the QR code scan at the entrance? And who took my money online? He forced me to pay the “lost ticket” maximum fee of $18 when I was there for less than two hours. Avoid this garage at all costs as they seem to be running a scam to double charge everyone.

This venue is in a good spot. Visible from the road and easily accessable. It has a good layout, able to accommodate any small to medium scale event. As for the car show i attended on May 18th, it seemed that people were having a good time with an overall relaxing and optimistic vibe. Security was spot on- police presence was well known but not at all overbearing providing a safe environment allowing a laid back, island style energy to floe through the crowd. Such a fun spot right across from the beach! Had a blast at the Beach Revue Preview Party with Dandy Wellington and his band. They had a dance floor, food trucks, vintage cars and so many fun events al weekend. I loved ordering strawberry lemonade with frozen strawberries and candy filled top! So special. I would attend this...
