Lisa was so amazing! I donate my hair every two years or so and it was getting to the length that I was itching to get it chopped. The only problem? We were on our way to Texas from Northern Wisconsin for a family vacation. I googled "curly hair cut Galveston Texas" and saw that Lisa was highly recommended, so I reached out about an appointment while I was in town. She was just the best! She asked some questions about what I was looking for and looked at pics of what I've done in the past, and gave me the cutest short cut for my curly/wavy hair! Her space is absolutely adorable, her prices are great, and she is just the sweetest - so fun to talk to! It takes me forever to find a hairdresser I trust and today I found Freddie!! I called several salons as I desperately needed a cut TODAY and nobody could get me in and honestly were pretty rude about it. I called this salon and spoke with the owner Lisa who immediately calmed my nerves, understood my frustration and got me in. She could tell I was having an emotional day and put my soul at ease! Then FREDDIE got his hands on me and I had the best haircut experience EVER! I have crazy hair, told him what I wanted and he put me right at ease and I gave me the exact cut I wanted without even showing him a picture. If I could leave a negative five-star review, I definitely would. This place is absolutely unbelievable and very unprofessional. Lisa speaks poorly about her clients and employees to others. She even yelled at and fired an employee in front of a client. She doesn’t pay her employees the correct amount, and when questioned, she blocks them. I would not trust anyone in this salon to do my hair with Lisa running the business. For anyone considering working here, please save yourself the time and misery and look elsewhere. She hires people and agrees to pay them a certain amount and when it is time to pay the employee she switches up on her word and then denies that don’t work for them.
