I was insulted, and basically called a liar multiple times. Note it takes a lot, a mean a LOT to get me offended. And this lady managed. If I was insulted once okay, but being called a thief indirectly 5 times with an attitude. An assumption that I can’t afford a burger because I drove my old ford truck, and look Hispanic (note the truck is fully paid for). The situation: 12:30 am. The manager Lady forgot to put my one of my burger inside the bag. I live two hours away and just waited 20 minutes for 2 burgers. (I’ve worked at a Whataburger when I was younger so I understand when it gets busy and how it’s like.) I work extremely hard to be fortunate to eat where I want without looking at prices. I just lack time. They handed me the bag and walked away without asking me if I wanted anything. Our sever was being talked to by the lady that packed our bag. As per usual I look in the back to check if everything is there. I was missing one burger so I waited for them to come out. I told the server I was missing one burger and she told the lady. Lady responded I know it’s in there i bagged it myself. I said I just check it’s not. (Again I just waited 20 minutes in line for 2 burgers and 1 fry) she again replied well it was in there. And I replied again “I looked in there, there is one burger and 1 fry. She replied well l know it was in their. she walked away telling someone else “they’re saying that there’s only one burger when I know I put two in there.” (note. They can check the cameras and clearly look that there’s only one burger. trust me I can afford a burger very easily. accidents happen I get that but that’s no reason to insult someone and call them a liar and a thief.) She went back and brought me another burger and when she gave it to me, she goes here, but I’m sure I put it in there and walked away . I was literally insulted by this lady. I put in 15 hour workdays on my business to be able to eat at Michelin restaurants if I choose to. I was just hungry. It was late and I love Whataburger. I eat it once a month by my house. I wanted a burger after an event and instead was implied that I was a thief at a restaurant I used to work when I was younger. Do better Whataburger. This is a shame. this was the poorest excuse for customer service I’ve ever gotten. Doesn’t matter how busy you are. You should never insult, judge your customers. I will be taking this up with Corporate and this is not how any restaurant should...
Read moreI arrived early Friday eve 10/15 from offshore work and was starved, tired and ready to make the long drive home and at first ordering was a bit different. I guess the ordering kiosk wasn't working so an attendant was taking orders with a tablet. After going inside quickly and returning to taking my order I proceeded to one of the two lanes. Both were occupied and as the line got shorter I moved up to the window and the young attendant at the window just looks at me throws their hands up in the air with an attitude and mouths of saying "well I don't know what your order." I was about to loose my cool but I bit my tongue took a deep breath and told them what my order was. I mean how rude. Not even a "hello, how may I help you, what was you're order please," nothing. Just attitude and no manners. That's a reflection on Whataburger's training. Don't they show these kids any customer service skills or manners? This kid was acting like a little diva in some reality TV show. Since when is it ok to treat your customers with a nasty attitude and no pleasantries? I understand they may have had a bad day so I didn't loose my cool no matter what kind of day I had but that kid has no business representing your establishment....... Just plain silly unnecessary attitude.
I have been here several times during covid and have always had pleasant experiences with the curbside servers during midday service and the food is always on point but unfortunately this time customer service was not the usual good Whataburger standard with...
Read moreThis was me and my husband's first time at Whataburger. We don't have any in Utah, and the closest to us is Denver. We actually were enticed to come here thanks to YouTuber's Jolly (Josh and Olly) and their reviews. Everything looked so good! I especially wanted to try the Dr. Pepper shake, and it did not disappoint!
I had the patty melt. Boy was it good! My husband first tried the Jalapeño burger. The fries are amazing! They (sorry to offend) remind me a little bit of McDonald's fries, but better. My husband HATES McDonald's fries, but loves these, so that's saying something. Probably our favorite fast food fries ever now! We also liked the dipping sauces. I didn't try them all, but by far the best one is the spicy ketchup! It's not that spicy, just a little tingle to the tongue, and honestly tastes better than regular ketchup!
My husband loved it so much, he got a chicken bbq sandwich to go (even though he was already full) and we went back again the next day for more for dinner. :D
Staff was very friendly, and all the food is cooked to order, so there will be a little wait. Totally worth it! I do wish my patty melt had a bit more crunch to it. The bread was softer than I'd like, but taste was all there. About the only thing I had to complain about, really.
10/10 So good! Please bring...
