I had always gone to Home Cut Donuts on weekends, and always referred friends and family, but not anymore. I had gone in and order their premade breakfast burrito with egg and potato. When I got home I opened it to put hot sauce in it, and then realized that the burrito had only eggs and bacon. Sometimes in the past when they but bacon in, it comes with strips of bacon. This time it was small pieces of bacon scrambled into the eggs. I drove back and spoke to a woman name Jolene and she said that they cannot give me what I wanted because they stop making their premade burritos for the day and she will not give me my money back because I had bit into the burrito. This was an assumption because she did not want to look in the bag nor wanted touch the bag. She was rude, did not have any concern about the problem and smirked at me during the time I was there. I was upset, I walk back to my car and couldn’t believe that someone at my favorite breakfast place was treating me this way, so I walk back in. I had never had to asked for the manager before and found out that it was a woman name Teri. With no improved concern, Teri was just as rude and said all sales are final. She also said once food leaves the store they cannot take it back or give me my money back, and that it is customer’s responsibility to open the premade burrito and check if it’s what I they wanted in the store. Yes, she is saying that I had to open the premade burrito in the store at Home Cut Donuts and check if it’s want I wanted. If it is not what I wanted and they don’t have the premade burrito I want, because they stop making burritos at a certain time, is the only way I could get my money back. I tried to explain that if I opened the burrito in the store or at home it doesn’t matter, it is still their mistake for handing me the wrong burrito. It seemed to me that they lack service skills or they just don’t care. Needless to say I was asking to leave without my money or my egg and...
Read moreI’m giving one star because of dishonesty. When I asked for my total and the woman checking me out, Scarlet, told me $15, and I get a notification from my bank instantly that it was nearly 19$- I immediately asked why. She told me “it’s the credit card fee.” Okay first of all , I work in the food service industry- and I almost never leave bad reviews, also, it’s pretty hard to upset me in any dining experience… long wait? Cool. Wrong order, also cool. But complete dishonesty regarding what you’re about to charge me- not cool. And when I asked her why she did not disclose to me the almost 4 dollar credit card fee when I asked her for my total, she told me it was because she did not know if I was going to be charged a fee until after she put in my total… Now typically it establishments you are charged a credit card processing fee when you spend less than $5… And this woman just told me that the processing fee for the credit card machine changes based on the transaction I guess… Won’t be...
Read moreGo somewhere else!!! I was super excited about this place after the reviews and what i heard. Just finished a competition and wanted donuts. Donuts were subpar. Maple cake & double chocolate cake were super dry. Powdered filled donuts had almost no filling. Finished 3/4 of the donut before finding it - literally 1 bite- filling was amazing too bad there wasn't more of it. Breakfast burrito was terrible, did not finish it & the hubs breakfast sandwich was not great. Most of all, the customer service was terrible. We walked in (5 of us) and i had everyone order one at a time to make it simple, the lady was super rude and when i said yes, i needed a bag for all the individual bags and drinks, she handed me a bag and i had to bag everything. I definitely don't mind, but along with her bad attitude and rushing us, didn't go well. Long story short, idk why they have such great reviews... do yourself a favor and go...
