I won’t be able to comment on the food due to the fact that I didn’t have any. I and my family walked into this restaurant, thinking we were going to get nice food and cozy dining experience. I couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only did we have to wait an hour for food, multiple people that came after us with bigger parties ended up getting their food before us. My mother wasn’t exactly the perfect customer but 1 hour for 3 dishes is absolutely insane. When my mother asked if the food was coming the waiter would always say “Oh 5 more minutes”, “Our kitchen is extremely busy” or “They’re coming out”. This was to the point where we decided to get take away and when we asked for that they said “Oh are you sure? The food is ready”. We ended up staying on choice to get takeaway and I honestly doubt that packing food takes half an hour. My mother went up to the counter and nothing was prepared and she ended just paying for our drinks which was $4. We just walked out at this point, completely unsatisfied and hungry. I do understand yall were busy but what annoys me most is that groups after us ended up getting their food before us. I do not know if you thought you could just take your time because it was just a mother and her two kids or if it was because we were asian but this was completely unacceptable. Honestly shameful from such a high reviewing restaurant. Reply 1: that’s how bad it is. You upset 3 of your customers 🤓☝️(edit) The restaurant replied with “Oh same three replies” or whatever but not once have they...
Read moreWe were visiting from Dallas and tried many restaurants here we've been here before so we wanted to try new places. I looked online first of all I love the name because I sell Mexican canela coffee at my shop in dallas. So it caught my attention. I will look at all the pictures online and all the reviews and it appeared that everybody was pleased and it looked like a really truly authentic Mexican place which surprised me because I thought it was just a coffee shop eagerly we came on Tuesday to eat here only to find out that they were closed on Tuesday so we went down the street to Gypsy Cafe 10 plus stars for Gypsy cafe. I do not know how these people have stayed in business. I suspect they won't be long. There was nothing Mexican about it it was nothing more than let's compare it to Schwann's nothing more than Frozen foods thawed out and presented as authentic fresh food. They had no tea the coffee was horrible then on top of that you couldn't even doctor it because they didn't have real cream to put in your coffee. I highly recommend Gypsy Cafe they make everything fresh and homemade and they have unusual things on the menu the hospitality is beyond exceptional it's decorated adorable and it smells clean let me add to this restaurant smell like the back alley of sewer and trash. We have a long road trip all the way back to Dallas Texas and now all I have on my stomach is my supplements my medication in a cup of coffee that I...
Read moreGood food. Service was good but our server was visibly sweating as it was dripping off his face and nearly missing our food. I had super high anxiety that his sweat would drip into our food so I quickly shewed him away. He was nice and attentive just needs to have a towel ready to wipe the sweat off his brow. I get it, having been a service myself of over 10years it’s hard work but please be mindful of your sweat.
One main complaint I have here is the air conditioning. It was very warm inside the restaurant and I think I know the reason why. Your fans in the dining area closest to the entrance are spinning the wrong way. They are spinning clock wise. I noticed this towards the end of our visit. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: there is a switch on each fan, flip it so the fan blades spin counter clockwise and allow the air to be push down to the ground. Your current settings are preventing the cool air from the vents to blow down to the floor.
This is my only complaint and frankly will prevent me from returning. Fix that issue and I’ll highly recommend this place and return with all my friends.
Hope the owner reads this and makes the effort to look into their ceiling fans....
