Visited this week from Northern Idaho and wow!!! What a cool place. So many amazing vendors with sooo many items. I probably could have spent the entire day in there. Some of the vendors had things priced high in our opinion, but we still walked away with some amazing goods. Unfortunately the lady checking us out was extremely rude. We are antique booth owners ourselves at home and have a lot of patience especially in a busy setting, however, she was very very snappy and talked down to us like we were idiots. The rest of the staff was kind and helpful, however the cashier gave us a bad taste. I would come back again in a heartbeat, I will just know going forward that the staff might not be super friendly :)

My family loves this place! We come here everytime we visit our family in Boise. It's different everytime. There are always new and interesting items to view and buy. I collect old cameras and always find a good assortment to choose from. I love looking at all of the antiques. My kids always find TY beanie babies, pokemon cards or Legos to bring home. Most of all, the ladies that work there are beyond kind and so helpful. The photo was from our latest visit where my 7 yr old refered to these as cowboy gun pockets 😊 Back again a year later and still love this spot. There was a whole case dedicated to Christmas village houses that I drooled over. Such fun things here!

This establishment sells NAZI MEMORABILIA! There is a giant swatstika banner proudly displayed and being sold for $120. When they were asked why they allow it and what kinds of rules they have for sellers selling racist or dangerous memorabilia, the associate said ā€œthese are actually quite popular especially with the military community.ā€ I will never give my business to a place that is profiting from and willing to sell items that represent hatred and the most horrific atrocities in human history.

Inhospitable. Gratuitously profiles guests.

I’m uncomfortable writing this, but this needs to be brought to light.

I stopped in today with my partner and some friends after having lunch in Boise. It was our friends’ first visit to AWM. He found something he liked, but before we knew it, there was a worker scolding him about carrying an item he planned to purchase.

Her eyes were bulging out of her face as she stood there, hands grasping at my friends merchandise. She was accusatory towards him. she started making weird sounds and making motions while she looked at us like we were crazy. He handed it over to her with confusion. We were all shocked. It was completely out of left field, and a complete disregard for our experience.

-what happened to decency? We all said hi when we walked in, none of us were unfriendly.

Then we met Cheryl, whom approached my partner and I warmly. She acted nice, saying she wanted to introduce herself, as she recognized us from past visits. We were genuinely happy to meet her, until she then commented on us giggling. She then accused my partner and I of being stoned as she walked away.

I’m disgusted I didn’t leave after that. The entire experience is something I never want to have happen again. None of us will be returning.

To whom it may concern, we don’t do drugs, and we aren’t thieves. We actually supported your business, even when there was a cold draft from the building collapse next door.

Anyone can reorganize the reviews others have left, it’s clear that we’re not the only people that have felt this way due to staff here.

If anyone wants to feel like a piece of trash, they could go to the dump, but Antique World Mall is a closer drive, and it doesn’t smell half as bad.

One last thing, I have also been to this store within an hour of closing and made a request for the bathroom key. I had no merchandise on me. I was rudely told they had already been cleaned and I had better not make a mess. Always assuming the worst in guests, thats standard practice here. It took us a few awkward encounters to realize you just don’t want us in your store.

After reflecting on our experiences, it just isn’t worth supporting this place anymore. I couldn’t recommend these accusatory bullies even to my least...

It was my first time to this place. My boyfriend wanted to show me. Plus we were hoping to find something for his outfit for his sister's wedding, as he is the minister. After about fifteen minutes I decide I need to user the restroom, so I ask the lady up front and she escorts and unlocks it, but adds "I'm assuming you're a customer, because these are only for customers." I smile and say yes. Later when I've returned to my boyfriend we see her again and he asks her if she would know where and if a sporran would be (it's part of a kilt). She eyes him up and down, and with disdain in her voice says, "I don't know what that is." And just keeps walking. He tries to keep talking to her but she just keeps going like we're unworthy of her time. My boyfriend is of Mexican Scottish decent. It felt very racist and very discriminatory. Especially after we turn the corner and another lady with curly blonde hair smiles and asks if we need help. We repeat the question. She acts excited and walks us to where it might be. The first lady, who was rude to us, was standing RIGHT THERE. Doing nothing. After w e turn around the next aisle, and hear the first lady scolding the curly blonde lady for helping us. My boyfriend overheard them but wouldn't tell me what she said because it was nasty and discriminatory. WHAT? I've never been so offended in my life. I feel bad leaving a bad review but that woman should not be working there or be in charge. She was probably 40. Frumpy. Short. Had straight, dirty blonde, shoulder length hair. Definitely has a superiority complex. I was going to tell my family about this place but now I will not. And I will not be returning. If I ever do, it will be to get this ladies name and ensure everyone knows how terrible she treats people. As I'm sure we're not the only ones she's...

I love this store! I make a point of going there whenever I’m in Boise. I live a couple of hours away, but it’s always worth the trip. I’ve found everything from vintage quilts & clothing to expensive antique furniture. The trick is to really LOOK. Under & around more flashy items there are some truly eclectic finds. The prices are on the speedy side, but there are also great finds at ridiculously low prices. The main thing to understand is that nothing in the store is owned by the store. It’s a collection of spaces for different sellers. Each seller usually has a central interest (e.g., military memorabilia, silverware & china, musical instruments, restoration hardware, jewelry). I’m baffled by the reviews about rudeness from the employees. I’ve never experienced that - as a matter of fact, on a couple of occasions one of the ladies called the seller for me to try to get a discount on an item I was interested in. You also need to go in knowing all sales are FINAL. One review talks about a necklace that broke & how the store wouldn’t repair the item nor take a return. This is SILLY. The store can’t be responsible for items sold on consignment for the dozens (hundreds?) of different sellers. In any case, I always find something & on several occasions I got real steals as it was clear the seller didn’t know what they had! I highly recommend the store. You’ll have plan for at least a couple of hours for thorough shopping. Even if I don’t buy, it’s a blast just to go & see what...
