Quik Wok Restaurant — Restaurant in Garden City

If I could rate this place a zero I would. 12-29-15. I order my dinner at 430 this afternoon. After placing my order Jason said they don't have a driver tell 5pm. And that it will be delivered at 530. I said that's fine. Told Jason I will be paying with my card. He said the driver has a card reader with him, and that I'll pay him when he gets here. Driver shows up at 530. No card reader. He calls into the restraunt on his phone. Wants me to use his phone to give them my card number. I said how do I know you called the store? I said I'll call on my phone sense I have the number. I called, paid my bill added two dollars as a tip. The driver wanted me to sign a piece of blank paper. I said no. I want a receipt. After he left I called the store again. Talked to Jason again. Told him I need a receipt. And I need it tonight. He was nice and understood, said he will send the driver back out to me. It's been two hours now and 4 more calls to the store. And nothing yet. When u sat down to eat the order was wrong. It wasn't what I order. Called back to the store to let them know. The lady I talked to didn't want to help and I had a very hard time understanding her. I told her if and when the driver shows back up I'll return my food and wasn't a refund. She hung up on me. So I called my back. Explained to them what happened, and that I called the store 5 times and they refuse to do anything about it. I filed a claim with my bank to get my money back. Don't order from here. I don't know how they are still...

Popped in last night, after calling and confirming they were allowing dine in.

There is minimal staff, as in no one was just sitting at the front desk waiting. A gentleman walked in from the back and asked us if we were there for a pickup; he was a little surprised we said dine in. There was absolutely no one else in the restaurant, and no music playing.

To which I realized was really nice and a relaxing experience.

The restaurant isn't overwhelming decorated, it isn't anything that would leave an impression. It is simply a "typical" Chinese restaurant layout and decor.

The gentleman running the to go orders out to vehicles, the one was sat us, the one who answers the phones, the one who took our orders.. Who knows he may be one of the cooks too. He was quiet and kind, not pushy at all. Thank you for checking our orders and letting us know better ways to order it.

Once orders were placed, they arrived rather quickly. We were impressed with how quickly they arrived given the amount of phone calls and cars coming and going through the "drive-thru."

I ordered (soft noodle) chow mein, pork fried rice, and broccoli and beef. The broccoli and beef had good flavor, and the beef was rather tender. The chow mein was good, not the best I've had but there is definitely worse. The pork fried rice was good, and typically better the second day😆 (Always ordering so there's leftovers.)

All in all, it was a quiet and enjoyable meal. I'd definitely...

I just called to place a delivery order and the guy was very short with me. I asked if I could get a combo meal with Chicken Lo Mein instead of Chicken chow mein. He explained that I couldn't order Lo Mein with the combo menu so I said ok can i get an order of chicken Lo mein. I ask him to make sure that Lo mein is just the soft noodles with chicken and cabbage and maybe carrots and he explains that the chow mein doesn't come in the combo because its like a "soup." So i asked him to explain what exactly their Chicken Lo Mein and he tells me that he "thinks it comes with gravy on it." So clearly, he's not even sure what he's talking about so I ask to speak to someone else who maybe knows the menu a little better and he says he is the only working right now...Then he proceeds to tell me that if I want this delivered it would be over an hour because they don't even have a dleivery driver working at the moment so I ask why he didn't let me know that from the beginning and he claims that "well I'm telling you right now," so again I ask to talk to someone else and he hangs up on me...How rude and I can't even believe someone so rude and ignorant even has a job!! Never going...
