Our family wanted to acknowledge a great local business & it’s amazing heartfelt staff. We relocated to the Treasure Valley about a year ago. Our then 8 year old son enjoyed Lego, so we checked to see what Lego store options there were in the area. The moment we found Bricks & Minifigs the enthusiastic warmth, passion & customer service was amazing. The tone set with my son took his partial interest & turned it into a deep passion. The store’s manager Shawn took great care to open my son’s imagination to the creative & engineering aspect of Lego. Within a few visits, his focus switched from just wanting a new mass produced set to the immense possibilities of him creating his own creations by digging thru the bins & enjoying a free flow way of building. This has grown so much, that our son has joined the Idaho Lug group. His participation in helping with the amazing Avatar build brought a huge sense of pride for our son. He excitingly brought several families thru Bricks & Minifigs doors to come see it displayed & now they are new customers to the store. As a further example of the stores quality of employees, Brig especially took the time to ask our son which Lego themes he enjoyed most. Those being primarily Star Wars & Marvel, they struck up a passionate conversation where our son felt recognized, heard & supported. Thru that experience & several others, Bricks & Minifigs is a weekly visit for our family. Over the year, true friendships & mentorship with our son have been made, particularly with it’s managers Shawn & Brig. Most importantly, we are constantly sharing this experience with everyone we come into contact with. A funny aside, our son literally has no interest in purchasing from the fancy new Lego store in the Village. He much prefers shopping & discussing build ideas with help from another great employee, Josh. We truly believe in supporting local independently owned businesses. Bricks & Minfigs is at the top of this list because of it’s amazing staff & warm culture, It truly is a crown jewel in...
Read moreI've been to this store several times throughout the years, but will never go back again. Went in there last week to sell some Legos. I met Taveya the "manager" who was extremely dismissive to me, and rude to other customers that she came into contact with. I was so disgusted by her gross behavior that I gathered up my Legos and decided just to make an eBay account and sell them on there,
I learned that she hasn't been there long. This is the quality of employee that they're hiring!? She was so disgusting in every way. I watched her push passed a child!! Considering this is a place that has children's parties, it speaks volumes what the owners are willing to put in place in their establishment just to make a buck.
I am going to make it my mission to make sure that EVERYONE I come into contact knows that they should avoid this toxic place considering who they're willing to put in charge. I've been a trusted member as a real estate agent in the treasure valley for 15 years, and I know many people, so this will spread...

These folks re use and bring out old lego complete sets, they also have new sets, and I found out that this is all from the owner's Passion and vision of legos in his life. I'm excited because we brought a group of kids here and the interaction and the creative building and solution making has been a group effort. I had no idea what I was driving by...bricks & mini figs... what that meant? Now I know So many Mini figurines it's an lost of armies inside! I found that just asking them specifically about semi trucks and school buses that they had the perfect recycled set for just me, and a bonus I got an airplane on top of it. Friendly people, great atmosphere, and a wonderful place to come and build legos...
