Enter the store and it was a Jeweler‘s daughter who said she could laser and fix my rope chain that broke in the middle of the chain. I returned to pick up my chain, went home to put the diamond pendant on the chain and slid my diamond towards the center and it snapped and broke again in the same place with a little bit of the rope chain falling to the floor in the carpet? I called them the next morning and he said he doesn’t know if it’s in the same place. I said, “oh yes, it is”! I asked if I could Fedex my Chain with a signature required for safety for both of us and he said no? Now a repair that cost me $80 broke & I have to drive 25 minutes back to have them look at it and if they do fix it “again” - I’ll have to drive home 25 minutes -back to pick it up 25 minutes and then back home 25minutes- - that’s an hour and a half out of a day and yet all I needed to do is FedEx to them and they won’t allow me to do that??? Truely that’s terrible Terrible Customer Service!!!!!! I’m stuck now with a necklace that is broken and It’s ridiculous. I would tell everyone do not go there! The repair on my necklace was terrible! It’s awful awful Customer Service. Therefore it’s $80 I just threw away For a terrible repair and I’m stuck with a broken necklace.!!!!! What about a guarantee? They repair glasses too! For those of you that have been to to " the"Jewelers Bench"", you already know it's the best the valley has to offer in regards to having jewelry repaired or custom created. - I myself have come here over the last several years much like going to the dentist meaning not until something breaks.

And this time? it was my glasses, my only glasses - these expensive wire frames I have owned just over a year had broken right at the lenses. I had asked several local vision providers (ok only two) as to a recommendation on what to do getting no satisfactory responses other than having them replaced which for me? means another expensive eye exam as it was also only good for a year.

I had completely forgotten this resource until driving by the store location suddenly having that "ah" or "duh" moment (your choice) realizing this was my solution all along

They had my glasses repaired within several minutes and they are perfect!

The Service at the "Jewelers Bench" is top notch and cost is much less than you would expect and if you by some rare circumstance you do have an issue or complaint?

Locally owned. Brought my chain to fix a broken link for $35, received a call the one connecting the link to the broken one is also thin, and would be additional $35 to repair. That left me with a bad taste in my mouth—the broken link was repaired, but the one connecting to the broken link was an additional $35? $5, $10, $15, I guess I get.

I picked up my chain, and I felt like I still had a broken item, even though I paid for it to be repaired. It does work, but obviously the integrity of the piece is not without risk for damage. It was only 10 carats, not even a high-quality chain. I wish I could say I left the jeweler with a structurally integral chain, but it is still weak according to them.

I’d rather take it to Porsche’s downtown Boise. They’re expensive, but they don’t nickel and dime and their work is absolute superb.

Jeweler’s Bench prices are pretty much on par for repair or purchase with the big conglomerates, so it’s really about what you want to support. Personally, I would encourage others to go to Porsche’s downtown. I will not...
