Diana Korean Market — Local services in Garden City

I've driven down this stretch of Fairview Avenue dozens of times and never once saw the Diana Korean grocery. I only learned about them after spotting a Yelp review.

This is one of the smallest ethnic grocery stores that I've visited. But they pack a lot of food, electronic rice cookers and other items in that space.

They have a more extensive selection of gochujang and other Korean chile pastes than other Asain markets in town. More brands and a wider variety of sizes.

I also like their frozen selection of bulgogi and kalbi ribs in the upright freezer located in the back left of the store. I read other reviews that said these selections are homemade. I love bulgogi so I picked up a package.

At other Asian markets, I used to hand over my debit card in the Asian tradition with two hands (the same style used with name cards, aka business cards). I stopped doing that when no one returned the card in kind.

I spent 3 years living in Korea and REALLY missed the food there. This place doesn't have everything you want but it has a good selection for a smaller store. Never thought I'd find red bean steamed buns here! Also...most of the American kimchi I've had is...less than desirable. This place brought me right back to some of my favorite places in Korea with their homemade kimchi. It's delicious! I personally wouldn't mind a but more spice but it's great how it is! Diana's Korean Market is a hidden gem in treasure valley and a store in Boise that's worth discovering. Despite its small size, the store is packed with a delightful array of Korean favorites, including my personal favorites—the mozzarella corn dogs. Additionally, they offer a diverse selection of beverages, such as a variety of tea options. The service is commendable and to be honest, every visit has been wonderful.
